Whatever Josh's relationship with Sean is, it's needs to turn real ugly real fast. If he wants any shot at a Lombardi, McDermott needs to be fired immediately. And replaced with a quality offensive HC.

The way McD reacted made me sick to my stomach. He wasn't willing to fight for his players with a head ref who clearly had an agenda. Like I said in the game thread, that was the worst officiated Bills game I've ever seen in my lifetime.

I agree, and he has to do it immediately. Don't wait till someone else gets Ben Johnson, Slowik or even Harbaugh. Many washed players need to go. Build a young team around Josh that maybe includes a real WR2.

Great fact....we saw way back then a little glimpse into the future on how incredibly stupid this guys personnel decisions were. And because he ended the drought, he got a lifetime pass by way too many people. Watching Von play today really pissed me off. Just shut him down the rest of the year and maybe....just maybe we get 1 good full season before we jettison him.

I like Beane but don't love Beane. I gave him a B on that other thread. He was hired by the alpha male McD. So in some regards his draft selections are strongly influenced by McD. I would have no problem keeping him for another year as long as McD is gone. Find better scouts for future offensive picks. McDermott bought all the groceries and they've become stale.

McD has no fire, passion or the ability to fight for his team. Bad call after bad call happened and all he did was stand on the sidelines like a polite little child. It was sickening to watch. No wonder he's lost the room.

It absolutely floors me how many really good posters supported this guy to the bitter end. He should've been fired after 13 seconds. That play was not an outlier. His soft zone blew the Houston lead. We've seen it countless times. How many times do Bills fans need to get punched in the face by McD before they realize this guy really does suck? It's almost laughable.

Gabe & Sherfield were lost out there all day. You could see Diggs tell Gabe you were supposed to just turn around, not cut hard right. Gabe has disappointed too many times. Sherfield was a joke today. God are we ever getting a WR2????

Johnson, Slowick or Brady in that order. The whole organizational structure of this team needs to change. Do what you should've done 5+ years ago and build your team around Josh. Not the other way around. End this insufferable zone defense.

Here's the winning answer. McDermott is a train wreck in so many different ways. If Terry can't see that then maybe it's time to take a break from the stress this team causes. Josh never has been the problem. Today he was fantastic yet some want 0 ints every week like he's some robot. Get him a real WR2 Get him a real OL Get him a real kicker Get him a real RB who doesn't drop tds. Get him a real defense that doesn't collapse in the 2nd half.

The entire game was an officiating abomination. The league clearly will continue to help along its revenue favorites. And that's never going to end. Hochuli and his crew should be suspended.

McDermott is a coward. He's literally used several different scapegoat coaches to cover up his 7 years of failing. He might make a good start up administrator for an NFL club, but you never want him within 100 yards of an NFL sideline.
