  1. Elvis pre-game music. Not Sinatra. Wasn’t Seattle at home? Otherwise, I agree. Best home game so far. They usually look flat at home.
  2. Very impressed. He’s a very nice young lad that Joshy is.
  3. I think we can get to next season with him, just at a reduced game-specific role. I can picture what the coaches “want” Edmunds to be, but it just isn’t going to happen. There also has to be a better replacement, otherwise we’ll just have to accept that teams will run and pass right at Edmunds down the stretch of each season.
  4. I don’t know what to do for this season. We just have to hope he doesn’t cost us games. You can’t let an experiment sink the entire team. McD/Frazier defenses have always been torched by TE’s and down the seam. I get it. I see the process. Edmunds just can’t play football. We need to draft/sign another version of that player that can actually play and finish the experiment.
  5. I don’t fault McD for taking that position and running an experiment to fill the holes in the scheme. In fact, I think the experiment itself yielded some positive results. But it’s clear that Edmunds can’t be that guy. I expect them to draft his replacement with our late round first. There’s no doubt about that. I would also reduce his snap count as games get closer and more important.
  6. I watched some of that game. Reminded me of Josh in his first year with no receivers that can catch. His height is a huge factor.
  7. It’s like that show Quantum Leap. The guy ends his previous mission and travel through time and realizes he’s on a football field. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. Brain zaps from meds maybe? There’s times where he has no idea what’s going on.
  8. I was putting a ceiling fan in my friends house today….I turn my head to look at the screen and there was Edmunds watching the RB run right on by him….reacts a second later and starts chasing him from behind. Doesn’t even throw an arm out there. Just frozen, watching dude run by. It’s like he looks at the runners feet and sees that he’s 1 inch past him, therefore isn’t responsible for the tackle. He’s always good for 3-4 plays that makes our entire room erupt in laughter. He’s so incredibly bad. That’s Edmunds in a nutshell.
  9. We can enjoy our 6 weeks of healthy Milano. We all deserve it. We’ll probably never see it again. It’s not worth getting a bunch of old people riled up about right now. Enjoy the ride. 6 games might end up being 5 wins. I’ll take that any day. Lets let it go.
  10. I also hate the designed runs. It’s extremely annoying. Wasted downs.
  11. We’ve heard people discuss Edmund’s specific role many times. Shouldn’t a player playing that specific role have 4-5 picks per season and a bunch of forced fumbles in the seams? I would think that role would make more of those plays than other LB’s. Does he high a good amount of pass breakups? I’ve seen at least 3 easy interceptions bounce right off his chest.
  12. Is it just me or do we not play well at home? The team always looks more in sync to me on the road. Both sides of the ball. It’s definitely happened enough times to notice the trend.
  13. That’s kinda my point. I feel that he did play a bunch of games that he probably shouldn’t have and it was visibly noticeable. As for Edmunds, we’ve all heard the explanations for what his “role” is and some of it may very well be true. The question then becomes….what should a team be investing in a player to fill that role? Certainly not top 5 LB money correct?
  14. Maybe the stat geeks can find out. I bet it’s more than 7 games that he either couldn’t finish or was playing at under 75 percent.
  15. How many games did he start, get dinged, then couldn’t finish, or was playing injured at half speed?
  16. I don’t mean because of his height. He seems to bite and get caught out of position sometimes. I don’t think he’s top 3 in the league, but probably top 10.
  17. No one ever questioned his talent, only his availability. However, some teams seem to toss it right over his head at times. Good teams can expose him.
  18. Do you ever feel guilty that he wasn’t able to destroy our team, but then destroyed the whole country? I think about that sometimes. Our team wouldn’t exist if he bought them. I would make the ultimate sacrifice to prevent the country from going through that mess again.
  19. It doesn’t appear so. He doesn’t have multiple bankruptcies, isn’t propped up by Russian money, and didn’t tank the NJ Generals and the entire USFL in the 80’s. Biden is squeaky clean. That’s why ur mad.
  20. His taxes are right there for you to see, unlike Mr. Russian bank loan guy that didn’t actually have enough money to buy the Bills.
  21. “Smart” when Trump does it. BAD when anyone else does it.
  22. I’ll never forget what it felt like to be poor. I had rich parents but I struggled in my late teens. I truly believe that if your neighbor is doing well, chances are you’re doing well also. Somehow, we got away from that in the early 90’s. Now it’s your neighbor either looking down their nose at you, or spiteful for what you have and they feel they deserve. Greed took over. I refuse to live that way.
  23. Taxes are the last thing people are worried about. Parts of the country are taking off and leaving many states behind. When ai see young people moving to Florida and Texas, it really upsets me, because they don’t know any better. You can’t really tell someone in their 20’s anything tho. They have to learn the hard way just like I did. I got extremely lucky and had a few big years. Most don’t get that opportunity.
  24. We went to my gf’s cousins house last week in Livingston. They’re a little younger than us. She works for MTA and he has some finance job. They make 400k combined. They do travel to the city each day tho. People are banking up here. The lower class just saw their wages double in the last 2 years. I’ve never seen anything quite like this is my lifetime. The new floor is set. Wish I could say the same for southern states. They won’t ever get close to where we’re at. I might actually go back to work. Lol.
  25. We’re doing it exactly right….to extend our leads after the midterms. Who do you think these people that just got a second round of PPP are going to vote for? How bout the disgusting child credit money that will kick in right before the election? How about the fact that Nancy raised the floor to 20/hr for basic warehouse jobs that used to pay 11 dollars. Voters know who gave them these things. DeSantis will probably block the 15 minimum wage hike through the courts. They’re in really bad shape.
