Looks like it’s done. I saw the last plane fly away. A near perfect mission to end a war that over 70 percent of the country no longer supported. Trump failed. Joe delivered. We’ll be hearing that a lot over the next few years on various issues. Unlike Trump, Joe delivers on promises made to the American people, doesn’t fear that he may “look bad” and doesn’t let his poll numbers dictate major decisions on foreign policy. No love letters needed. Americans know why Trump negotiated with the Taliban in his last year heading into the election. Every decision was to help him politically. Nothing else ever mattered to him. Now, he’s left there questioning his spineless decision, in awe of Joe’s amazing leadership. The Right is left with the bitter whimpers of “but muh equipment!” Now, onto the next Republican mess that needs to be cleaned up. Joe will lead the way. This act alone puts him in the upper tier ranking of Presidents. Nothing can stop him now.

Our military mission is complete. We can go back to being epidemiologists now.
