  1. THANK YOU!!! The conspiracy speculation about Tre White has been absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary this week.
  2. It feels like a real coin flip to me. The Jaguars and Vikings both hung 30 points on the Titans, and the Bills have a better offense than both of them. Their defense is ranked 15th in points per game allowed. Middle of the pack. On the other hand, our defense is ranked even worse in points per game, and I'm not sure they'll be up to the task of stopping Derrick Henry. I'll say 30-29 Titans, with some sort of bogus call by the refs that infuriates Bills fans. Hope I'm wrong.
  3. I feel like I can't accurately predict the score until I see what guys the Titans are likely to get back. A mostly healthy/cleared Titans roster has a much greater chance at defeating the Bills than one with the COVID guys still on the shelf. And is Tre White out for the game? That's also a big swing. I'll pick a score when I see what the Titans roster looks like, which should be tomorrow.
  4. 4-0, Top five offense, best team In a quarter century...and we’re talking about the guard and WR that got away. Bills fans gonna Bills fan.
  5. I don’t, or else I wouldn’t have asked.
  6. Would you prefer that the Bills had picked him rather than Oliver?
  7. Even if that’s the case, everything we know about the virus suggests there’s a good chance those guys aren’t at full strength, assuming they were symptomatic.
  8. Dude got production out of John DiGiorgio. Don’t hate.
  9. While most can agree Metcalf would have been a better pick than Ford, it’s important to note that Metcalf on the Bills likely means no trade for Diggs. Seeing how well Diggs is playing for the Bills, how much his presence improves the team overall, and that the Bills currently sit 4-0 and have a top 5 offense, I’m happy with the way things turned out.
  10. I think that whatever psychological edge the Titans may have is mitigated by both the uncertainty/stress of the past two weeks (their friends/teammates contracting a potentially deadly virus), and the fact that the team hasn’t been able to practice at the facility in a normal fashion. Further, when it comes to mental and emotional preparation for a strange and uncommon situation, I’ll take the meticulously detailed, calm, and measured presence/approach of McDermott over meathead Vrabel any day.
  11. Punish the Titans team by making them continue to play in Tennessee. Punish the Titans fans by making them continue to have to watch and root for the Titans.
  12. The Steelers game was not cancelled, it was moved. Cancelling the Bills game would not be fair to the Bills, as they wouldn’t get paid for the game. Ditto forfeiture. Moving the game to weeks from now would also not be fair, as the Titans would definitely get all their sick players back by then, basically suffering no disadvantage for their negligence. We’re in a pandemic. We’re talking about what days FOOTBALL GAMES are being played. 1st world problems. It is what it is. Go Bills!
  13. Brady not knowing what down it was to end the game is my favorite thing of the week.
  14. I played a few games online today. Allen and the defense both seemed much better to me. The bump in short, medium, and deep accuracy to 81 has really boosted Allen's performance. Bills Pass D is now harder to move the ball against.
  15. No, but I think it's too early in the season for Flex scheduling, isn't it? So unless they do an unprecedented Sunday Night Football switcheroo, I don't see how it could be in prime time?
  16. The thing that sucks the most is losing the nationally televised Bills vs Chiefs Thursday nighter. Now it'll just happen at 1pm Sunday and get lost in the sea of games. The Titan's screw-up cost the Bills a primetime showcase. Boooooo!!!!!!
  17. Woah. That's harsh. Not saying I disagree with it, but....wow.
  18. This is a good read. I think y'all will enjoy it. Allen IS a spectacular anomaly, and he's ours! https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2020/10/8/21498755/josh-allen-buffalo-bills-breakout-season-qb-scouting It’s unfortunate that as sportswriters we aren’t allowed to change our opinions about athletes. If we were, I would say that Josh Allen has become a shockingly effective quarterback and one of the most fun players in the NFL. Sadly, I am locked in. Before Allen was drafted in 2018, I wrote that “he does not seem especially good at playing football,” and now my name is Rodger “He Does Not Seem Especially Good at Playing Football” Sherman. If Allen leads the Bills to the Super Bowl, I will be obligated to say he still sucks. I will be buried with this take...
  19. I'm with you. I predict no change at all to Allen. Which is....just ridiculous. A guy who is a consensus MVP candidate, and they have him at 79, ranked lower than guys like Tannehill. Absurd.
  20. I’ve gone back and forth, and as much as I want to watch the Bills play this Sunday, the health of the players is simply more important. There’s no way the Bills players should have to fly to Tennessee and play a team that is STILL seeing new players test positive every day. Do I want a cancelled game or a win by forfeit? No. But both sound better than 10 Bills players getting COVID. I’m onto the Chiefs.
  21. Every year a few people want to cut a good returner in favor of a sixth string WR who will see 3 snaps a game. Every year they look silly saying so. I've always looked at it this way: If a returner has 30 punt return yards per game -- and that's about what Roberts is averaging so far this season -- it means he's gotten you three first downs. By comparison, not many bottom-of-the-roster wide receivers playing limited snaps would get you three first downs per game. Simple math.
  22. So Daboll will NOT be dialing up any jet sweeps to Cody Ford? *****. I knew I shouldn't have taken that bet.
  23. Titans fans on Twitter are being absolute garbage people about the whole situation, as well. None of them seem to be mad at the Titans or their coaches whatsoever. They're all mad at the reporters who cover the team for being "rats". The players themselves don't seem to have much contrition, either. Sad that one team can jeopardize the entire NFL season with its carelessness.
