Yeah, I suppose we could throw Hillary in there for good measure. Thanks for suggesting it!

Given crime levels in the US, there aren’t nearly enough people incarcerated. We actually need tougher enforcement. Lots of unsolved murders due to gangs and an ant police culture that stops people from telling what they know. Keep criminals off the streets! Sadly, libs want law abiding citizens to be in danger by disarming them and by eliminating bail, etc.

Zero evidence that race had anything to do with the actions of Chauvin.

So Trump is responsible for Covid ? Wrecked the country ? You are officially the poster child for liberal media brainwashing in America. Except they have nothing to do with a vaccine “ rollout”, or the vaccine itself. There’s nothing to approve of that’s attributable to them: It was already happening anyway. If a Dem was in office , the vaccine would still be years away.

Trump’s Post Presidency—What Will He Do?
Boatdrinks replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Hopefully Trump will run again in 2024. The country’s inevitable slide into a giant turdpool has already begun in earnest. It will be devastatingly bad after 4 years of JoeBama. America first will Trump America last. -
Another week, another mass murder
Boatdrinks replied to SoTier's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Thousands of murders per year in the US, most committed with a gun of some type. We don’t need a pause on legal gun owners, but rather a crackdown on crime with strict sentences. We need to get tougher on crime, not softer. Libs have pushed wimpy crime policies and violent crime is not surprisingly on the upswing. In addition, guns are legal and they are used to kill. The manufacturer is not at fault, but rather their shooter and then possibly the family was negligent. It was probably clear before this kid was 18 that he should be placed in a mental health facility. Of course, with libs it’s always everyone else’s fault except the individual and possibly their family. The government or a corporation failed and the perp is the victim. -
Another week, another mass murder

It seems that Indiana already has a “ red flag law” that’s been on the books for 15 years. Amazingly, it didn’t work. Doesn’t appear that a waiting period would do much in the FedEx shooting as the guns were purchased last July and last September. -
Georgia election laws and MLB
Boatdrinks replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Mailing in a requested ballot is fine. -
We know there is zero similarity between the two situations. Trump won fair and square in 2016, so they whined about the electoral college. Trump was going to win easily in 2020, so they changed/ eliminated the rules so unverifiable paper ballots were allowed. Voila: Biden. Nothing to see here, lol

Can we talk about actual armed insurrection
Boatdrinks replied to Unforgiven's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Try to kill Congressmen ? Lol that did not happen. Anyway, this was probably because Trump won a solid victory in the electoral college with, you know actual living registered voters. The libs knew it, so they complained about the electoral college and some Russian Facebook pages that were “ misleading”. In 2020 the Democrat party knew they were doomed in November, but took advantage of media fear mongering about the Coronavirus to completely change election rules and flood swing states with unverifiable paper ballots. This destroyed any confidence that the election was “ fair“. All but 3 of the nations mainstream news outlets are owned ( and staffed) by liberal activists, so most of these things are ignored or flat out censored by them. -
What a total load of bunk. No Capitol police were murdered by protesters on Jan 6. That’s a fact. What property was destroyed? Anyone paying attention knows there is zero similarity between the Capitol protest and the liberal rioters that burn, loot, kill etc. Was the Capitol set on fire? Were stores looted? Murdering Congressmen ? Didn’t happen either. You’re drunk on liberal narratives to say the least. Your screen name is more misleading than a Democrat infrastructure bill. These liberal protests ring hollow when there are hundreds upon hundreds of murders in Dem cities across America per year and you never see a protest or outrage. When a couple dozen Police shootings of a non White subject occur per year, businesses are looted and burned by angry “protesters” in “ response “. This level of stupidity just cannot be supported by any American claiming to be logical.
-
The danger from Police to non criminal citizens is already extremely low. Cultural issues that make some extremely violent toward Police is indeed a difficult issue to “ solve”. There may not be any realistic solution.

Just added some other points to my previous response thru an edit. Read it if you wish. Your statement has zero basis in reality, the numbers don’t back it up in any way. You’ve fallen victim to radical hyperbolic sensationalists. Or you’ve listened to “ sympathy for the devil” too many times in a row.
-
Your last sentence is where you go off track. The first statements are all true. The last cannot be. If she had simply approached the vehicle, opened the door and shot him it would be true. That’s not what happened. He had a huge part in his own demise.
-
Yep, she was negligent. His actions played a role as he had a warrant , illegal gun charge and decided to take a chance. Both are true. He got a Cop that didn’t bring their A game that day. Chance you take when you tempt fate.

When criminals stop shooting at cops , tons of illegal handguns aren’t out on the streets and murders tail off. So , basically no. Ideally we can, but bad people with zero respect for life or others screw it up. Besides, “ living in fear” of such an occurrence is completely unnecessary and unrealistic. Pure hyperbole. The numbers show these are pretty isolated events on a year to year basis. You have a much better chance of winning the lottery, or having a hammer fall off the top shelf at Lowe’s and go through your skull. Now, if your actions constantly put you in police contact the chances go up, but they’re still verylow. Even if you’re arrested and cuffed , these things happen every day without a major incident. Living in fear is caving into sensationalism. Do you live in fear of a mass murder every time you go in the grocery store ? Nope. How many unarmed ( female) protesters of color have been shot during the liberal riots of 2019 and 2020 ? I’ll hang up and listen.

Yes, real . I saw the video clip. I believe it was MSNBC but maybe others can chime in. The entire thing is a tragedy. Now we are going to debate which part of the story is the bigger tragedy ? Geez, get a grip.

This is true. The msm suppresses stories they find unpalatable or don’t drive their chosen narrative. It’s why they can’t be trusted. Look how quickly they let the story of the driver who rammed the Capitol barrier with his vehicle. One lib network even rushed to declare the villain was White. When it was discovered he was actually a Black man who was a follower of Farrakhan the story died. ABC news briefs on the radio only stated the man’s name and nothing else about him. Subtle, yes but still obviously biased.

Sometimes, as it appears to be in the Chauvin case. These incidents are exceedingly rare though, as are police involved shootings in general (only around 1,000 per annum) in a nation of 300 plus million with millions of police calls annually. Most are justified based on the suspect having a weapon, or making a sudden move etc. White areas, black areas? Theres no such thing. People can live where they want to for the most part. I can’t go buy a million dollar mansion in an exclusive enclave like I’m a founder of BLM or something, so obviously we all have different budgets. Cops do a great many good things across the USA on a daily basis, but you think they’re only around to “ harass people”.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Boatdrinks replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Sounds like regeneron ? Very interesting, and promising. -
Did I say “ no racism” ? Lol of course it exists. Too many people listen to the msm too much, and that’s why they’re so uninformed. There will never be no racism. It’s just no that common Just as there will never be no crime, or no guns, or no anything. I’m not the one living in fantasy land, though.
-
No dummy, not for any historic issues of the past. As a society we moved on long ago, and the vast majority of Americans are not racist. That truth doesn’t garner votes for radical policies, nor does it foster brainwashing of Caucasians through the education system. True, wrong word. It’s tough to be “ caught “ doing something so obvious that everyone knows it.
-
I’ll agree on the racial divide, and the msm is making it far worse. Most people in America are not racist and want to get along . it’s also a cultural thing with the prison population regardless of race. You earn huge points in jail harming or killing a cop.
-
I agree with both your statements. This is because it’s the truth. Truth has all too often become irrelevant. She’s an ex cop, so if she gets jail time, she should absolutely not be in general pop and she won’t be. She doesn’t deserve to be physically harmed for her error., and putting her in general pop would all but guarantee this.
