Losing should help us win more games in the upcoming years though. This year is done. I really hope we manage to get Turcotte. The Sabres need to get as strong as possible down the middle. Like you said my rooting won't make a difference in how they play, but I also won't be mad if they lose I'll actually be happy. lol

A loss is better for us anyway. We're out of the playoffs. Get me a lot of losses and a center like Turcotte in the draft. What does a win accomplish at this point?

I can't believe a guy with as little production as Metcalf is getting top 10 buzz. And while the other test were great as others have pointed out the 3-cone sucked which is important.

What is it with you and running backs? It seems like most of the threads you make are about running backs. It's not an important position.

Of course the Sabres are going to win games now that I want them to lose for a higher draft pick. There's almost no shot at making up 8 points on Carolina and 7 points on Pittsburgh (we have to pass them both) not to mention they both own the tiebreaker over us. I want one of those centers projected to go from 6 to 10 but we'll win ourselves out of getting one of them.

Tom Brady wasn't projected to go high though. Scouts just missed on him. Point was actually rated as a 1st round pick by so many scouts. We had so many picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds that we should've used one on the highest rated player.

Playoffs hopes are pretty much all but gone. I hope we lose a lot the rest of the season and draft high enough to get a center like Turcotte or Dach. Zegras, Krebs and Newhook would be nice too. If the rumors are true that Ristolainen could be moved then hopefully a team like Edmonton would be interested in moving their pick for him and we could get two of those players. We need to work on having three lines who can score. Strong center play is needed.

The only reason I forcused on it is because he was rated high most of the year. All the GMs missed on him (they do a lot of players but it's not like scouts didn't rank him high.. because they did for a lot of the year again if I'm not mistaken). He was smaller. Teams got too obsessed with size. A lot of smaller players are succeeding in the league. The Sabres had a lot of picks that year (3 in the second round, 2 in the third round) and should've taken the chance on him seeing how he was very productive before being drafted.

I still can't believe how bad we messed up the 3rd round in 2014. We had the first pick in that round #61 and pick #74 and passed on Brayden Point (#79 overall) for Jonas Johansson and Brycen Martin. Point was at one time projected to be a first rounder if I'm not mistaken. You could do that with a lot of players who should've been picked but weren't but that seemed like an easy choice to me.

I wish there was a way the Sabres could get Kevin Hayes and Rickard Rakell. They could form a nice second line at an affordable price (salary wise).

And Geno Smith got a broken freaking jaw. Much worse. This lady was fine. She was also very aggressive and hitting him. Geno didn't touch IK. People were actually laughing and celebrating that Geno got his jaw broken. Violence towards men is apparently funny to everyone. But god forbid a woman gets love tapped in comparison. End that person's life.

It's pretty ridiculous that IK Enemkpali got only a 4 game suspension for breaking Geno Smith's jaw. Meanwhile everyone wants Hunt's career ended for a love tap in comparison simply because this one involved a woman (not to mention that woman was attacking Hunt too unlike Geno). This is another case of complete gender discrimination against men.

The whole point is to watch one team win and one team lose. Not the fashion they do it in. A team just won a Super Bowl. I don't think they care how 'boring' it was. Not every game is going to be a masterpiece. I also don't care about the halftime show or commercials. I'm watching to see a sport played. I hate mixing concerts in with a football game.

Eichel is 21st in the league in points per game. I'll take players like him all day. The other lines need to do more. The Sabres have 3 first rounders in the upcoming draft which is supposed to be a pretty good one. They need to hit on those picks and get some depth scoring.

Eichel and Dahlin are both producing like top tier players. How could you place the losing on them?

Notice how they never cry how there's few white players at every other position? And notice how underdrafted most white skilled players are. Edelman is just one of many of them who was way underdrafted. Gronk too.

Jussie Smollett more like P_____. I haven't seen Empire but I remember seeing his name listed as Terry Hall from the Mighty Ducks. The Mighty Ducks cheated to beat the Hawks. The Flying V had blatant interference. Should've been a Hawks PP not a Ducks goal.
