Yes, and Beane drafted every one of them. Get the following through your head, you and the others crying this morning, once and for all: 1. No one is happy with things the way they are. No one. No one on this board, and no one at OBD. 2. Blaming the current coach and front office for things that happened 10-20 years ago is pointless and stupid. 3. Everyone agrees that Beane and McDermott have to figure this out. Part of that is using the cap space they - yes - created (to bet rid of what they considered bloated contracts) and the draft picks they accumulated to do a serious upgrade to the talent, especially on offense. I think Allen was starting to come on when he got hurt. He was getting the ball out quicker, more accurate. I'll give you this: assuming they add talent to the offensive side of the ball next season (talent meaning at least two starting O linemen, a starting WR, and maybe a TE), if they still run an offense focused just on short passes and still make less of an impact through the air, I'll be right with you.

Did I say it was not his fault? No. They did try to replace Wood with Groy and then Bodine. They tried to bring other guys like Brown in at WR but he signed elsewhere.
