  1. Several folks on this board have done a throw by throw analysis of Allen and debunked the accuracy thing. Allen has a ways to go, and I would concur with the author' thoughts on him having to make quicker decisions. That is the case for young QBs in general, they have to get things to slow down enough to make proper reads, etc.
  2. Of course accuracy can be improved. It's silly to suggest otherwise.
  3. I am not telling anyone not to post. I did question why one would want to if all you post is negative stuff, and then tell people to just ignore it if you don't like it. That defeats the purpose of the board. I hope Bill gets that; I'm not sure he does. I guess I don't consider it dressing down, I just consider it debate. God knows I've had things I've written ripped to shreds at times, and in retrospect at times I got what I deserved.
  4. With the explosion of the Internet sites devoted to the NFL it is impossible to figure out anymore who has validity in commenting on things and who is the equivalent of a guy like me just siting in his basement spewing things out just for the heck of it.
  5. So you cannot admit your post was the exact thing you rail against. Okay. By the way, I don't see the mods telling me or anyone else who had issues with the one guy's posts that we can't post things. No warnings were given, no have I ever received one. People post their views, other people respond and challenge those. Do you honestly not get that?
  6. Stop and think. You are telling me (and others) we are not allowed to post in rebuttal to what the guy in question posts. You are doing exactly what you accuse me of doing - telling me and others they are not allowed to post. Logic is in short supply around here. Again if this SoTier guy wants to post stuff that doesn't make a whole lot of sense fine by me. But when you go out of your way to spin everything negatively, when you somehow cannot understand that Pegula is not Wilson, that what Beane does has nothing to do with what say Whaley did, that what McD does has nothing to do with what say Jauron did, then people point it out. I could compare the current regime to what Buster Ramsay and his crew did back in the day; it would mean nothing. And when he spins makingbthe playoffs under McD for the first time in 17 years into a negative, it pretty much tells you all you need to know as several folks have pointed out. In your world, I guess, the board would consist of single posts for any given topic. Because no one should respond to or debate anything.
  7. And I remind you that no one is telling him he can't. His posts are consistently negative, are devoid of logic, and I and others here point that out in response to what he writes. You are the one who is telling me I can't post. You are the one trying to be the keeper of the gate. You clearly do not understand the purpose of a discussion board.
  8. I don't know that proud is a descriptor I'd use. I like the emphasis on culture, as I don't know of any successful organizations that do so without a good one. I also like that the HC andGM are in synch. Will that translate to success? Time will tell.
  9. The logical reason Brandon was put in charge of PSE was because of his ability to put butts in the seats. You answered your own question. Then you belittle making the playoffs and turn that into a negative. Your hatred for the Bills clouds your ability to see anything clearly. And yes I know you don't care what I or others think. Which begs the question: why participate in a board designed for discussion and debate if you wish to do neither?
  10. He doesn't care. Go look back at some posts from him. He thinks Pegula doesn't care about winning and only cares about $$, thinks he's the same as Ralph. Granted we all have have different opinions but opinions should be based in some modicum of fact and logic. He has neither.
  11. We have legal rights, and those legal rights do not include the right to an employer to have to hire you. Cut him. If the legal system clears him he can then catch on either with the Bills or elsewhere.
  12. Fairness under the law. The NFL isn't a court. He has no given right to play football. Cut him
  13. One game. They won. And you spin it negatively and assume that the new HC of the Fish will somehow beat them. Because it gives you a cute little way to spin something negatively. Because it's what you do for whatever bizarre reason.
  14. Badobilz is spinning a victory over the Lions as a negative. And when I and others bring up how ridiculous it is that some here exist only to criticize the team to somehow either boost their ego or try and be cute, we're wrong? And when we do so we're told we should just ignore it? Comical.
  15. I just answered that question. If Allen progresses well we should If not we won't. And don't forget other teams with their young QBs don't play Brady twice a year. That's a roadblock for AFC East teams.
  16. The time to get better is now. The time to WIN as you put it may or may not be now. As much as I like Allen he is still a second year QB with a lot to learn. I anticipate somewhere between 8-8 to 10-6. The O line should be better, the D should be solid. If Allen makes quicker progress the prospects for a playoff season should be bright.
  17. Disagree. Closest to Brady is Montana in my eyes. Plus it's fun to debate these things!
  18. A very imaginative idea but it flies in the face of all that is known about O line play.
  19. I have questioned your negativity and your lack of logic. As an example you claim I have blinders on with the current regime, when in this very thread and many other I have talked about things I think they would have done differently such as Sammy, as well as that they will be fired if their plan does not succeed. Your overreaction is somewhat comical; everyone here knows the Bills have work to do. I think the clearest area where I don't see a logical progression of your thought process is your insistence on lumping the Pegula regime with Ralph's, particularly with respect to your insistence that the Pegulas are not interested in having a successful team vs. just making a profit. There is no rationale to this claim. If anything the Pegulas have spent more recklessly , such as hiring and firing coaches. You're skeptical. Great, and understandable. But you use that to twist everything in a negative direction. Have fun wallowing in misery, I guess. Maybe last year had something to do with a rookie QB playing. And the Peterson debacle of course. Beane admitted he did not handle the backup QB thing correctly last year. Should we perhaps flog him in public to meet the desires of some fans?
  20. When you're the GOAT you've earned the right to skip voluntary workouts.
  21. Mahomes, or one of Mayfield/Darnold/Allen will be the first 200 million dollar contract.
  22. I agree. The problem around here are the extremists. A poster above who consistently posts negative stuff accuses me of blindly supporting the front office when in the very same thread I pointed out they should not have traded Watkins. That sort of negativity is a problem. And the ones saying Allen will be MVP or try to justify, say, the Benjamin trade are equally problematic What I like right now is that the HC and GM operate in synch and have both a philosophy of how to build a team plus a plan to do so that they stick to. Does that mean every decision they make will be correct? Of course not. No one is judged a success or failure based on single decisions. Hell, Bill Gates hasn't been perfect and he's done OK for himself. Does it mean they're immune to criticism? Of course not. It just gets tiresome when some go out of their way to manufacture things to B word about. Or celebrate things that haven't happened. if their plan works we'll all celebrate. If not they'll get fired. Simple.
