  1. Looking at the tape, this is one where the officer has to make a split second decision. He doesn't shoot odds are the girl with the knife kills the other kid. It's not at all like kneeling on a guy's neck for 9 some minutes. Again a split second decision. He either does something or the girl stabs another kid. This is why policing is a tremendously difficult profession and why I stand behind law enforcement. The taser may not have stopped it, he could have been stabbed, etc.
  2. Too early to tell. You have to see who is getting picked earlier in round 1.
  3. I stand with the police. And part of that stance is to have bad policemen like this guy held to account for his crimes. Justice was served yesterday.
  4. Actually I was in his cousin’s wedding....,
  5. I don’t know what it is, I don’t watch it.
  6. Not surprising
  7. I believe Fox refers to his show as entertainment and not news. Blame them, right?
  8. He is an entertainer. That's what Fox had to claim to avoid a lawsuit as I recall.
  9. There is no debate. He’s their guy.
  10. Mold spores are around 3-30 microns in diameter and your mask pores were likely larger than that, thus not filtered as effectively. The difference between your mold situation and that of Covid is that the main route of transmission of Covid is through larger droplets and aerosols which are captured more readily by masks. The mold spores are released as individual spores and not in droplet form. When you have thousands of people, i.e. the public, dying from gunshots every year across the country what would you call it?
  11. A big fat tub of goo for the interior of the D line
  12. I could post rebuttals as well as do my own to this article. It ignores the fact that the virus is spread primarily by droplets and aerosols and not as free virus. It ignores that the studies of hypoxia involve only N95 masks. And so on. But you have made it abundantly clear you don’t care about actual science and want to wallow in self-pity.
  13. I agree with the latter. Question: do you think that every one of these mass shooters over the past decade or so would have failed a background check?
  14. How would you limit the ability of this kid in Indy to shoot dozens of bullets in a minute? You don’t see that as a problem?
  15. Vaccines are improved with time such as the mRNA vaccines.
  16. Need to get a handle on that for sure. There are so many things that could be done. The absolutist positions paralyze any progress.
  17. No I don’t. Is that because you rapidly change magazines? Then perhaps we focus on changing that aspect.
  18. Sure I can. If Washington hadn’t had his troops vaccinated for smallpox we’d still be ruled by a queen. So what? Vaccines have saved probably billions of people from disease and death. They will save folks from Covid.
  19. Six or less in a minute just as an example. That might have saved a couple people here in Indy the other day. Or some kids at Sandy Hook. Or some folks in Las Vegas. Or so on. Limit the ammunition it gives people time to take cover and/or use their own gun to take out the shooter before he can kill more people. Rather than absolutist positions, have a calm and reasoned discussion.
  20. Yes, but there’s a difference between a gun that shoots a few bullets vs. dozens in a given time period.
  21. Polio is not ancient history just as an example. HPV as another. Meningitis as another. I could go on.
  22. Vaccines are one of the great medical advancements in history.
