Brown had a couple bad things including the false start. Overall held up OK Bernard was not the reason they had a couple great runs, and overall the D held them all game. Cook was gaining a lot of yards going outside, and we win the game if Josh got the ball a little farther out when Cook beat his guy in that wheel route. This game was on Josh. He sucked.

I did not understand that call. A run would have been OK but Cook was getting yards going outside, not between the tackles. That said, this game was not Dorsey’s fault. Josh sucked. There were plenty of guys open all night but he chose to try and make the big play way too often.

Josh sucked. Plain and simple. And he won’t suck like that very often. This was basically a replay of last year’s game in NJ. Josh sucked then too. The epitome of him trying to do too much wasn’t the 3 horrible picks or the fumble, but that 3rd down play where he tried to jump over two guys 5 yards short of a first down. That epitomized his dumb play last night. Dorsey can call whatever he wants but if Josh reverts to hero ball then he is prone to making mistakes like he did last night. The O line held up reasonably well against a great D line; Williams is a beast inside. Our D except for the one big run did pretty well. Don’t give me Bernard playing bad and all that stuff; he was OK. Some are saying Tre is done but he had Wilson covered like a blanket on that TD; the guy just made a phenomenal play. Only thing I saw on D is that Poyer has slowed down a lot. McD and Dorsey have to sit Josh down and drill it into his skull that the great QBs take what is given them. I’d bring Brady or Manning into OBD for a talk with him. This team is still good. But no team wins when the QB has a day like ours did.

Josh lost this game. Period.

Floyd. And more depth at DT. And McD calling the D. And healthy veteran safeties. But we’ve done nothing different on D. You acknowledge we’ve improved the interior of the O line which should help control Q. Williams, but then say Josh will still need to run for his life. Oh, and Brown is heathy too now. Whatever. Wallow in misery if you want.

One of whom is coming off an ACL. Funny how that’s ignored. And we no longer by and large have MLBs in the league like Butkus or Lewis that clog the middle. The trend is more mobile LBs for pass defense, and D lines clogging things up in the run game. Funny how that’s ignored.

Unbiased. Right. We’ve made changes on each line to address some of the issues you mention, added to the RB and WR/TE positions, and you act like we’ve done nothing. Unbiased my ass. it’s going to be a tough game for sure. It will come down to our coaches and making good calls.

We changed to having the same email for each. Still trying to figure it out

But when we do that it keeps asking us to verify our location. We go to YouTube/location and it asks us to put in the email. We do that then give the password and when we try to open the game it goes right back to the verify thing. We think it may be that our TV is under one email address and the You Tube NFL package is under another?

Someone help me out. Is you tube different than you tube tv? On our TV (which is like 7 years old) we can go to things like Amazon TV, Netflix, and you tube. I can pull up you tube videos on this TV as well as shows on the other services. But today when we try to bring up the games it keeps asking to verify our location. And we try to do that with no success. I am able to watch games on my phone though. So what is going on?

When we try and pull up location all it gives us is a country?

Same thing. I can pull it up on my phone but not TV. I wonder if my TV is too old.

No student discount. This is the most infuriating thing I’ve seen yet.

This you tube thing is crap. It brings up a screen asking to verify your current playback area. We do it and we still can’t get it to go on my TV. Can anyone help?

I did not say anyone is infallible. Nor did I say fans (short for fanatic after all) don’t get to voice opinions. Just that, on the whole, folks with more extensive training and expertise in an area have a better chance of being right in that area than those who don’t. So I prefer to wait and see what happens before criticizing. People are saying Bernard is doomed to fail based on a very limited data set. I choose to see how he does before judging.

This raises an interesting philosophical point. The Internet and social media has led to many thinking they are knowledgeable in areas because of the ready access of information. Take pro football and our current GM and HC. Do they make mistakes that fans can criticize? Sure. But do they make as many as someone here on this board would make if thrown into the job? Not a chance. Because they are indeed more expert in their field than any of us are. I’m an IVF lab director with over 40 years experience and I have folks without a high school diploma try to tell me on social media how reproduction works. Sorry, but I am an expert; you are not. It would be like me taking my taxes to an accountant and then telling him or her I’m going to redo them because I know better. So when it comes to football I give guys who have done this for years the benefit of the doubt, because I believe experience and expertise is to be valued and not belittled.

I need advice as well. I have three jerseys; a blue Tasker and a blue Kelly, and a red Allen. I usually start each season with Tasker until we lose, then go to Kelly, and then to Allen on the next loss. But since we haven't gone all the way to the Lombardi yet should I change up the rotation?

Was just going to start something about this. I don't think it's a puff piece; Gaughin doesn't do those. Sounds like he's working hard on diet and such to have a good year this year.
