  1. you're in no way here to have a conversation. literally all you do is cry in the worst way. it's almost like you don't want this team to improve so you can continually bleed your bitter heart out on this board. jesus. no one is saying that this team is going to light it up next year either, but most are expecting to draft and grab a few guys in fa so we can start to see the ultimate plan. i expect the staff to draft a qb and build the lines. it will be a young team next year too, and there's going to be growing pains. you're going to learn to find out how to deal with this, because unless something magical happens, i doubt it's a quick turn around. that's my take on it. i'm sure you won't agree, and will just spit out the same tired nonsense instead of having a normal conversation. quit being so pathetic. life is too short.
  2. i'm not even saying this to defend jones, but when some of the balls are thrown his way, they're so off the mark it's not funny. i think it's great that he's a regular target, but whether it's how he runs routes vs qb play, it would be nice to see the ball more in his general territory.
  3. maybe it's an italian thing? every year one of these pieces of garbage shows up. on top of that, someone went out of their way to get one, because as far as i know, it's not something you'd find unless you were at a bakery.
  4. i know it's a bit off topic, but while we're on bread, can we talk about how terrible easter bread is? every damn year i try some thinking i'm going to like it, and every year i'm just a bit more disappointed in myself for thinking so.
  5. or we should at least see what direction this team wants to take this team in. to me this year is just a throw away. once they get their qb and a young core, i think we'll have a much better idea. i'm not saying, or am convinced this will work, but to act like this team is some finished product that the staff wanted is just simple.
  6. good post. this is where i'm at with it too.
  7. drafting higher definitely helps, but i agree with you. it's not where you pick but who you pick. that being said, i think this year is does matter much more where you pick, especially if the goal is to trade up in one of top positions. i don't know why people are being so dense about this. people keep saying we've "replaced" players, when that hasn't been done yet. this year was a purge year, and the build up begins this off season.
  8. this **** is my jam. there's always limited quantities at the store, but just pour some on ice, and let the fatness set in.
  9. like fading and gal said, it's really tough to choose. lately at our local farmers market, a bakery has been selling salt bread that's actually incredible. it's a simple idea, but i feel like i'm eating fried dough that's been doused in salt vs sugar.
  10. i've learned the smaller ones are the way to go. i was able to hook up one of those huge, fake christmas trees you see in malls and two story department stores. a store in canada was taking their decorations down last year, and my father in law convinced the guy to sell it to him. i hated that god damn thing. i could barely put it up, i almost killed myself taking it down, and i didn't own a ladder tall enough to decorate the top of it. this year i just hauled up the old tree, and couldn't be happier.
  11. at some point you have to take a shot at it. this is a better year than any to try it.
  12. unfortunately i just don't think it's going to happen quick. if this team can get a qb this draft, i'll feel a lot better about the whole thing.
  13. of course we have no idea about the future of who is going to re-sign, but we can use common sense to help make a conclusion. did you really think watkins was going to return? he wants money, and with tyrod as his qb, he sure wouldn't have put of the production that he'd want to be paid for. on top of that, why would he want to be on a team with such uncertainty at qb? it just wasn't good situation for him here, so i'm more than glad to get a second and a player. i agree with everything else. everything going on is risky, and it's going to take time. i have zero idea if it will work, but i think the plan is to build this team so they're not a one and done in the playoffs, (assuming they actually start going to the playoffs).
  14. i don't know why people think this way. they made the roster changes to try to gain some draft capital for guys that were not likely going to be on the team next year. the moves weren't made for this year, and i don't know how anyone could see it that way.
  15. sammy watkins...i think we both know it would be very unlikely that he was going to be here next year. i know people say the bills could have thrown money at him, but i have to imagine his numbers would have been lousy, and if i were him, i would go looking for a payday with a team that has a competent qb situation. dareus...i hated this one too, but again, i think we knew he would be here next year. he was getting paid a ton of money and not coming close to living up to it. he was paid to be a leader, and wasn't even coming to meetings on time. they got a pick for him, and unloaded some money. tolbert and ducasse? they're just guys here for now. i'm not sure why you'd even use them as examples. it hasn't been perfect this year, but they're moving to something different. this team needed so much more than a few adjustments. we've seen this over the last 17 years, and it just hasn't worked. time to get drastic and start new. enough is enough already. i'm just so happy that you no longer mention mike gillislee. you couldn't wait to tell us how the bills were rebuilding because they let him go.
  16. i don't know why this is so hard. i'm not saying the possible 8/9 wins is a good thing at all, but tell me that you actually thought that was possible given the roster. did they create this roster? of course, but some people act like this the team that will be here for the next 3-4 years. it certainly won't be. the bills got some value for guys that most likely wouldn't have been here next year, or just weren't living up to expectations. it was never about this year. we weren't winning with the guys traded, so at least get value while you build something new. stop messing around, get a qb, and build the lines.
  17. yeah...i need to see what happens with the off season/draft before i good all kromer on a beach around here.
  18. to be clear, winning 8/9 games isn't a good thing. as mentioned it really was the worst case scenario, but i'm just surprised it happened. (if it happens)
  19. you're not. you're giving them credit for what they've done with the lack of talent on the roster. i know they caused it, but again, this team is going to look very different next year. i certainly wouldn't have thought this team could win 8/9 games this year.
  20. like? i'm sure there's a very logical reason why some people were moved in almost every instance. certain move were certainly more head scratching than others, but i think i understand why some decisions were made.
  21. scott feels that every move made should have helped this year. it wasn't about this year...at all.
