  1. the third quarter is definitely this teams weakness, but i don't agree with the bolded, or this type of thinking. before the season, there were countless posters that told us josh allen would never improve, and this offense would never regularly score more than 21 points. both have happened. this team is still evolving, and i never discount this team getting better...even this season. we all said that this team could have the same record as last year, and still be better. when the bills play clean football, i really think they can hang with anyone. you adapt by taking what the other teams give you.
  2. there were a number of sizable offensive gains that were called back, the ints, missed tackles, etc. this was a good team yesterday that just played bad. i really think the bills can win games in the playoffs...if they can play cleaner football.
  3. yesterday was just a sloppy mess. i was blown away to think the bills may actually win that game. to play that bad and still be in it is something i suppose. the loss as much as it stings, doesn't worry me. there's still a ton of season left.
  4. I’ll punch an otter right in the face.
  5. yes. what is the bills record? do you not think josh is the majority of the reason for that? just because he may not put up gaudy stats every single game, it does not mean that he's not a large part of the win. we've seen your posting. we know your stance on him, and that's ok. but let's not act like you're fair. you're not. you're waiting for him to fail for some reason. edit: i'm not saying the bills can't lose...we all know they certainly can. i'm just referring specifically to josh here.
  6. you may not like predicting the bills to lose, but you do like predicting josh playing bad enough for the bills to lose.
  7. no one likes to predict allen's failure like you do! that being said... cakewalk *****!
  8. lol! i've never been a huge compute gaming guy unless it was certain rts or simcity. i don't know if it's because i'm part of the original nintendo generation, but i love consoles.
  9. i ended up ordering an xbox from costco, and that really is the way to go. it said it wasn't going to ship until next week as part of a bundle, (you get the second controller at 15 bucks off), but on monday i got an email that said it had shipped, and it ended up coming in yesterday. on top of that, the were able to get a better price from the seller, and they gave me 10 bucks back. i haven't played anything on it yet, but boy is it fast and smooth turning on, opening apps and games, etc. it's not a wild jump, but i couldn't go back to the last generation xbox now.
  10. he wishes! instead he decided to waste his time with a super bowl. see what i mean?
  11. ok. you spent the entire off season letting us know that josh would never, ever get any better, and that we were just to emotionally invested to see it, and we'd all be let down. time to let that narrative go now. i know it's going to be hard after preaching so much nonsense, but give it a try. you were wrong. very wrong. maybe next time you have an opinion, you'll realize it's just that, and back off.
  12. here ya go... matt and i were both in college at the same time. the campus isn't huge, so it was very common to see him around. based on our dorms, a lot of the team would eat at a specific dining hall, and always sit together in the same area. this dining hall employed adults with disabilities to do basic services...clean the tables, stock materials, etc. one of the adults in particular (i think her name was margie) would always go out of her way to hang out with the football team. she would stop working, and they would spend time with her pretty much every day. well, one day in the dining hall, there was a commotion, and this woman margie ran out, very upset and visibly crying. hasselbeck watched her go, quickly grabbed his stuff and followed her out. i left to go to class, and as i turned a corner, i see matt with his arm around this woman, consoling her. as i walked by, i could hear him saying something to the effect of, "don't worry....friends get in arguments all the time. just give things time to cool down, then go have a talk." he had her hand on her shoulder, and he really mellowed her out. not an earth shattering story, but i always thought more of him after that.
  13. this is a bit off topic, but does anyone want to hear a matt hasselbeck good guy story? i think i've told it before, and it has nothing to do with josh, but it's all i got for this thread.
  14. what's it like to live like this?
  15. happy birfday!
  16. i'm oddly into this.
