Sean McDermott is the 2nd Best Coach in Bills History
teef replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh i'm with you. i just don't freak out with every hiccup in a season. even the best teams take a step back on occasion. is this team elite at this point? no, but they need to keep following through with their plan and see what this year holds. they need to get into the playoffs and win some games. we all want the same thing. if this team loses to the pats, i'm going to be furious. it wouldn't cripple the season, but it's time to win games like this. -

do you not understand why just showing records is not a good comparison? i bet you don't. so...answer the question. which coach would you rather have out of those 3 listed, and explain why. -

this is an incredibly child like way to view their success as a coach. would you rather have mcd or marrone/ryan? (i'm not advocating that he's the second best coach in team history. just commenting on the things you feel are important) -
this is nice.

i don't know man. worrying about the quality of the wins during the regular season doesn't seem too relaxed. i can't be relaxed when there excellence to still obtain. i want to win. i want more! regular season wins? big deal. let start looking for playoff wins. try to think bigger than you are. stop worrying about 300 yard games, and worry about advancing in the playoffs. you guys spend far too much time worrying about useless details. desire more. don't be beaten down.

you keep telling me about the regular season. it's like you prefer the salad over the steak. move the bar bro. think bigger. i think you're just so accustomed to seeing this team miss the playoffs for so many years, that regular season wins are major accomplishments to you. winning the east and snagging those playoff wins...that's what you should be concentrating on. move...that...bar

sorry bro. you can take your regular season trophies. some of us want the real deal holyfield, and others like you...you'll settle. get to the playoffs and the big boy wins begin. so be giddy that the raiders beat the chiefs...like it matters at all right now. you may not be, but some of us are looking for more than regular season wins. talk about setting the bar low.

Local attorney trying to block sale of home to Tre White

this even strikes me as a bit low for a house that value. -
everything the staff has done has been far more good that bad. i don't care who started the thread...you're the one perpetuating nonsense. the first year here, this staff with a tyrod led offense went to the playoffs. call it luck if you want, but they went. two years later, this staff takes them again, under the leadership for a second year qb. this year this team is poised to win the afc east, and go back to the playoffs. when you hear people who work in football talk about mcd and this staff, it's always with high praise. it's amazing how some fans can see the good that's been done. are they where they need to be right now? no, but it's along season and a lot can happen. i'd much rather wait to see how it unfolds than be angry about what is. i get it. your gripe until now is 300 yard games. you literally think mcd didn't allow for allen to throw for 300, yet here we are. now that this is no longer a complaint, you've moved onto something new. it has nothing to do with a bar you set...it's just you.
