Bills vs. Chiefs Divisional Round: Full Match Re-play
teef replied to HomeTeam's topic in The Stadium Wall
i got over it maybe faster than i should have. even in that loss i realized that bills are one of the best in the nfl without a doubt. if that opportunity keeps getting squandered away, you and filthyhole may be spot on. -

I think it’s way too premature for that. the pats ruined it for fans. Getting the the Super Bowl is wildly difficult, even for the best teams nfl. Even the best qbs in the league today have one trophy to their name. Having a good qb and coach just isn’t enough sometime. I’m not giving mcd a pass, and his time to go may very well come…but next year or bust? Eh. -

do you really think the pegulas will give the ultimatum that you win the super bowl or you're fired? -
Todays Take on Generational Money Where is That Line ?

as long as i was in physically good shape, and mentally still into it, i'd play as long as i could and earn as much as i could. you can never have enough cash. the only other way i'd consider walking away was if i had another passion that i wanted to follow. -
thanks professor.

god i loved this show as a kid. i'm not sure i was even old enough to understand what was going on, but i have fond memories. i haven't watched the clips yet, but i do remember the gun on a pillow.

yeah. he apparently wasn't too shy about looking outside of his marriage. you think he'd maybe branch out from the workplace, but maybe he was just too busy!

it is. especially when you're cheating on the friend of the owner's wife. he was arrogant and it completely caught up with him.

it's not a great story, but unfortunately it happened. my parents were in florida, and my brother and i decided to go down an visit them. for fun we decided to meet at disney world for a few days. i can't remember exactly where we stayed, but it was on disney property. i was probably 22/23 at the time and my brother was 25/26. we all went out to dinner one night on the board walk. my parents decided to call it a night, so my brother and i went to a piano bar and have a few drinks. at the bar we met a bunch of people, starting partying, and things got festive. when it was time to leave, we paid our tab, and went outside to talk to some people. after hanging right in front of the bar for a few minutes, a bar tender came runnning out at us screaming, letting everyone in earshot know we were trying to run out on a tab. what had happened was that since we had far too much to drink, my brother signed the tab, but instead of taking the credit card, accidentally left with the tab and left his card. the bartender decided to call this a theft instead of a mistake. no my brother and i are many things, but thieves we are not. we tried to explain to him what had happened, but he just kept calling us liars. that's when the insults started. we grew up in a hardcore ball busting family, so this guy was ready to cry. he then called security, and about 6 giant men showed up getting in our faces. to give you perspective, i'm 5'9", 170 lbs...i'm not an imposing person by any means, and my brother is a bit bigger. these guys could have started a gang. well, one guy grabbed me, my brother didn't like it, he pushed him...my brother got knocked onto the ground, so i pushed that guy, etc. looking back, these guy as wrong as they were, did show restraint. they could have destroyed us. now the cops got involved. not 2 or 3, but easily 8-10. at this point my brother was landing every insult possible, so we were quickly cuffed and were told we were no longer allowed to be on disney properties. we were each taken in a separate squad car back to our hotel, and they wanted us to tell our parents what happened. when they knocked on the door to my parents room, my mom broke down in tears. as my dad remembers, he thought we had murdered someone due to all the police presence. we grabbed our stuff, and went to another hotel off campus. i wrote this as fast as possible, so sorry for the mistakes, but that's one way to get a police escort off disney properties.

ehhh. i have a family member that does business with brandon, and it was more than that. my understanding was that his relationship with another female was more than public. apparently she would leave his hotel rooms when they traveled, and most knew what was going on. russ has a wife and children, and kim pegula is friends with his wife. she did not appreciate that in any way, so he was gone.

Some old time AFL for an offseason football fix.
teef replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Me too. I was pumped to see some bills mentions in an old Alf episode. -
I thought this would be a bigger deal than it is. Reading that was a giant nothing, and it should be taken that way.

unfortunately, welcome to life.

that can't be it...right? maybe it's very early still. anything?

meh. after seeing some of the insane prices people have paid for houses around here, (which is still very low in comparison to other cities) i've settled down. i'll get angry when the raise it in a year or two, but man are we lucky that we bought our house when we did.

for full disclosure, i'm the person that can't help but to laugh when someone falls in public. it just comes out. that being said, that really was a strange reaction. i don't think bad of him because if it, but it looks like he says, "oh my god", then just peaces out. i wouldn't expect him to jump down and stabalize the woman, but man that was strange.

he's certainly doesn't need to prove anything to anyone at this point, so i agree with what you're saying. i'm just wondering if he's mentally ready to stop playing a sport that he's played his entire life. it's his identity, and if he feels healthy, he might just not be there yet. i think some people just have difficulty having that much time on their hands at a very young age.

i don't remember his age, but it was definitely relatively "early" in his career. it doesn't happen often though barring medical issues.
