I know. You are right and I am trying. I honestly am. But it’s hard sometimes. It’s just infuriating to read some of these stories (especially knowing that some of this could have been prevented). And it’s infuriating to still see many people not taking this seriously. I’m just scared, and sometimes that fear and anger get the best of me. Boy do I wish we handled this like South Korea did. Both the U.S. and S. Korea reported their first COVID19 case on the same day. One country took it very serious, the other did very little for a month and a half (except talk about how it was all under control and a big media hoax) and now we are starting to pay the price.

I travel to NYC at least 4-5x per year and have for about the last decade. This is quite stunning to see. I am glad to see it, don’t get me wrong. But it’s still crazy. I feel like this is all some crazy dream. I think i actually have photos of a lot of these same places. I’ll have to take a look when I get a chance.

I think it would do a lot of damage to belichick’s whole “patriot way” if they tanked. If belichick keeps wanting to be a hard ass who rules with an iron fist and doesn’t tolerate mistakes by any player, how can they possibly tank and keep that culture in place? Losing brady, who always took the heavy criticism and led by example, was already a blow to that method. If they start losing, nobody’s going to put up with it. Bills fans need to stop stop worrying about the pats tanking for a #1 OA pick/QB. Pats have always been successful without a top pick at QB.

This is heart breaking. Scary how it seems to hit some people so hard. The eldest son who died has to be younger than 55 if Rita was the eldest child. And it sounds like both were in good health.

Yeah it was weird seeing the way they were all announced on the Bills website. I took a a screen shot. They all say “report: Bills acquire/sign”. This new generation of consoles has me excited!

Did they mention anything about being able to expand hard drive space? That was one of the things I liked most about the new Xbox. It comes with a 1 TB solid state drive but They’re also selling 1 TB plug in expanded hard drives that you can easily swap in and out, and that will somehow work just like the internal solid state drive (so, just as fast). The external hard drives we use now for Xbox/PlayStation aren’t SSD so I’m not sure if they’ll be compatible, and even if they are I would guess they would greatly reduce load speeds, etc.

They are officially invoking the defense production act. Was announced today. Very happy to hear that. Hopefully production of ventilators, masks etc will be ramped up. About a week ago I saw a company that produces ventilators saying that they have the capability to ramp up production 5 x. Not sure yet. Her boss called her at home and told her they had 2 inpatient cases and to stay home for now. Then they called her back a few mins later and said “never mind, we need you to come in”. So I’m guessing she will find out more details later. I’m not sure if they are new patients that maybe caught it before they came in, or if someone brought it in or what. She has has issues with her immune system, so not only is she worried for all the patients, she’s a bit worried about herself as well. I feel bad for her. I know she’s spooked. One thing I know is that they will take every precaution they can there. They already deal with a lot of high risk patients with compromised immune systems and have a lot of restrictions in place. Even if they wanted to tank, they had the #1 defense in NFL last year. That defense won’t allow them to win only a game or two. And neither will belichick’s coaching. My sister works at Roswell. I guess They have their first 2 confirmed cases of COVID19. Its 2 inpatients. They have them in quarantine. But safe to say they’re all a bit scared. I pray it doesn’t spread there.

Testing numbers as of today. The U.S. is still lagging way behind every other country in testing. I’m still reading all sorts of stories on social media of people with symptoms who can’t get wasted. I just read a twitter thread from Lizzie O’Leary (contributing writer for the Atlantic) saying that’s she’s 6 months pregnant, has an auto immune disorder and has a cough, fever, headache and chest tightness but can’t get tested. Says she’s been directed to call about 5 different places but none could test her. Best they could do was give her a flu test to rule that out. I sure hope they get a handle on testing soon. This should not be happening in the United States.
