My point was there is more going on this preseason then just an evaluation of new players. McD is evaluating all players, his new coaching staff and how well the players fit into what McD/Beane are trying to accomplish on the football field both short and long term. Pegula's are evaluating McD/Beane. Running vanilla through preseason is common knowledge. Taylor being asked to stand in the pocket this preseason has already been discussed in other threads. For anyone thinking this is a normal run of the mill training camp/ preseason just ask Ronald Darby and Sammy Watkins.

When a new O is being installed preseason becomes a little more important then an evaluation of newcomers in my humble opinion.

Contrary to what many believe there is no going back and forth for me because I stand behind the whole 53 man roster. insane break out numbers? ummm no, Do you honestly believe Taylor played better then Peterman during preseason? you won the bet because McD is a stand up guy IMO. Do you realize the G Roman O made a QB look good thats currently unemployed because of the low volume of passing attempts? Or that the newly installed Dennison O requires the QB to work from the pocket?

I get having a difference of opinion on this subject , what I don't get is the need for insults.

Taylor has a winning record in the NFL after two seasons and given a starters salary to continue playing for Buffalo. While I believe the Bills may have hit the jackpot in Peterman its refreshing to see the loyalty returned to Taylor who has proven his loyalty to his team. I respect the decision. Myself personally, still a big T T fan, fan of the whole 53 man roster which includes Nathan Peterman. I'm an even bigger fan of the team...
