Peterman did not look like your typical deer in the headlights rookie during the preseason. (not at all) I was very impressed despite what the stat sheet says. Kid was composed, accurate and decisive IMO.

I think when a QB steps up to the line of scrimmage knowing he has 3 downs to throw for a 1st it allows for a different mindset and its a big part of the reason good rhythm is often created in the passing game during the 2 minure drill. (IMO) Throw the football more on 1st down...

Myself personally, Dennison can't modify the whole O to fit a QB that struggles in the pocket. Its not a problem normally associated with a QB in my humble opinion. Increased reps in the passing game to build chemistry and speed up the Zay Jones learning curve would help IMO. Shady can catch...

Added reps /attempts on the practice and playing field will improve chemistry and Buffalo's ability to throw the football IMO. If the passing department gets the least amount of practice and playing reps in the league should it surprise anyone Buffalo's passing game is below average?

The coaches would have a better idea of how fast or well a rookie signal caller is developing and understanding the new system IMO. Is Peterman constantly pressed and coached up, I'm sure he is, and a casual observer on the sidelines can misinterpret the coaching up part for something more in my humble opinion J, with all due respect

This is not the kind of HC/ coaching staff that gives the media or general public information that can help the oppositioln or hurt a players reputation in my humble opinion. It also wouldn't be that unusual to need your rookie backup pressed into understanding the O well enough to operate at a rapid pace when they might be called for duty at any time without a moments notice. with all due respect On a side note I find it interesting much of the TBD patrons that frequent the message board express the desire to handle the development of Peterman the way a 1st round rookie would be handled. The higher then normal level of concern for a 5th rounder suggests the Bills fan base sees potential.

Run 1st O is not designed to play catch up, especially when time on the clock becomes a factor in my humble opinion. I'm not sure what the outcome would be , but If I was Dennison I might be inclined to start throwing the football 80- 90% of the time and see what gives. The problem might be as much about being to predictable as it is lack of execution IMO. I'll give credit where/when credits due, I'll also place blame where/when it needs to be placed...

Tyrod Taylor does not function well in the pocket which makes Dennisons job much more complicated in my humble opinion. McD/Dennison need to take a hard look at this problem, make some adjustments in how Taylor is utilized, or bench him for the better pocket QB In Peterman.(IMO) Pounding a square peg into a round hole doesn't work... ...especially at crunch time...

Having some chemistry with your go to guy is a must ...
