  1. McD is the one you will have to convince when it comes to letting go of Taylor, which will be easier said then done IMO. Lets say Taylor does come back through all the changes and stands behind center when the next regular season rolls around. 4 years as the Bills starting QB. Who at the dawning of a New Era has represented this franchise better?
  2. I have no problem drafting a QB to groom. On the other hand it would be great for the Buffalo Bills to come out next season with the same work ethic and good chemistry from a team perspective and I think Tyrod Taylor is a big part it. In my humble opinon and with all due respect sir. Alex Smith is a name being tossed around allot. How deep into the playoffs did he go?
  3. Point one, we can win games with Taylor behind center. Point two, we did win games with Taylor behind center. Point three, the Buffalo Bills made the playoffs...
  4. Myself personally, I'm not a fan of anything that stalls more drives out. I think O holding should be reduced to a 5 yard penalty...
  5. I think all QB's need a good security blanket ( or two ) Brady is a great QB, possibly the best signal caller that ever played the game, but where would he be without a great TE? (BB gets it) Would the K - Gun/Machine Gun Kelly have blown holes in the opposing D without great play from the TE position?
  6. Guess who throws the ball less then probably any other starting signal caller in the league and not because he can't throw the ball. The Buffalo Bills pound the football with a run 1st Offense. Anyone ever stop to think perhaps more reps in the passing game practice or playing field will improve and increase the passing output. Or how about an elite TE?
  7. If I'm HC McD Tyrod Taylor earned himself another season at the helm when Buffalo made the playoffs in my humble opinion. Getting KO'd on the football field is not how this story needs to end. Draft a rookie...
  8. Tyrod Taylor had developed good chemistry with Sammy and Watkins would in all likelihood have impacted the game and season in my humble opinion. Taylor is short, doesn't see over the Oline well, and having chemistry with your WR is probably more important for Tyrod Taylor then any other QB in the league IMO. with all due respect sir
  9. thanks for the reply, Question, do you think Sammy Watkins could have helped Buffalo advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs? Or how about this, a TE like Gronk? Myself personally, I think we might be able to beat the Pats with a TE like Gronk.( Taylor behind center)
  10. I agree GOAT on not Taylor not being where we as Bills fans want him to be as a passer, but through hard work and dedication Tyrod Taylor is going to continue to improve his game in my humble opinion.
  11. Yes winning is a team stat and this current Buffalo Bills football team won 9 games and earned its 1st playoff game in 17 years and not because of a boatload of talent. The Bills finally did what had become the impossible with hard work, dedication and good character. Tyrod Taylor exemplifies what makes this team play the way it does and accomplish the things they do in my humble opinion.
  12. Myself personally, players around T T needed to step up and make plays and they didn't. Means keeping your feet in bounds or not getting Offensive PI when your team is on the two yard line. QB always shoulders most of the blame on a low scoring game. Goes with the territory. Sammy stays in Buffalo the the Bills are advancing to round 2 in my humble opinion. Thanks OP for the enjoyable reviews all season long, much appreciated thankful to get one monkey off our back...
  13. The problem I see with drafting a QB season after season until you get one is the time it takes to get an accurate assessment on the 1st guy you get before going on to the next guy. When you draft a QB In the top 3 rounds his future is in your hands. Maybe the OC isn't a good match or maybe the QB needs a few seasons under his belt before the game slows down. If Buffalo could grow QB's like we do CB's I might be more inclined to agree with you
  14. I d on't want to draft a QB just for the sake of drafting one in the top 3 rounds so it depends for me. If the guy we really wanted within reason is gone get a player that will have an impact now is how I would approach the next draft. Lots of holes to fill...
  15. Or a more appropriate timing like after the playoffs.
  16. I feel sorry for dogmarrone...
  17. Myself personally, I believe Tyrod Taylor's running abilities will be on full display this Sunday as T Mobile spear heads his teams quest for greatness. Throwing caution to the wind... ...I'm a Billiever...
  18. Absolutely, lol bump
  19. I think when most fans looked at the schedule before the season started the thought of making the playoffs seemed remote and even the biggest homers like myself predicted 9 - 7 or tops 10 - 6 . Most of us homers have repeated this prediction for 17 years. I don't think McD and company accomplished making the playoffs blindly nor do I see the Bills taking two steps backwards next season.. Its the dawning of a New Era in my humble opinion. I'm a Billiever...
  20. Exactly, been there, done that, let it snow...let it snow... ...let it snow...
  21. I get that , I really do, but without a good supporting cast the QB you draft is destined for failure IMO. Can you imagine what McD's D could do with an elite pass rusher?
  22. I agree, McD's criteria from a players perspective I think differs somewhat from other HC in the league and the QB he's looking for may not be the most talented signal caller in the next draft class in my humble opinion. Tyrod Taylor (and Nate Peterman) gives the McD/Beane regime a reason not to reach IMO.
  23. I have mixed feeling because T T had his best weapon, one he worked all off season to build chemistry with traded right before the season started. Good chemistry doesn't happen over night, knowing a players tendency takes time/ practice and before you can build good chemistry the O has to all be on the same page IMO. I get the need for improvement, but some continuity can help improve an Offensive unit in my humble opinion. Especially from the QB position that has seen as many OC changes as he has seasons starting for the Buffalo Bills. with all due respect sir
  24. Good observation Shaw and when you combine talent , loyalty and excellence which is what the McD/Beane regime is trying to accomplish the end results is a very smart, flexible football team that can be coached up enough to win a Championship in my humble opinion. I'm a Billiever...
  25. I look at it this way, while Dennison and T T may not be a perfect fit the current coaching staff (and QB) did somethig no other Bills coaching staff could do in 17 years. Don't rock the boat...
