  1. McCarron threw for a total of 9,019 yards, 77 TD's/15 INT's, 162.5 QB rating for the tide on a run 1st O. Not to mention winning 2 National Championships. I realize until McCarron goes out and performs at a high level what he has and hasn't done in the past is all everyone has to go on. Myself personally, I have very high hopes for A J McCarrron
  2. If McCarron had won two National championships with any other team besides Alabama chances are he would have been drafted higher and A J's pro career would have taken off quicker in my humble opinion. McCarron played well in big games. NFL QB's like Watson and Newton are examples of what winning a championship for any other team not named Alabama can do to help kick start their pro career IMO. Don't underestimate this kids potential...
  3. A J's a made man already...
  4. pulling our leg might be a nicer way of putting it, If Mayfield is targeted maybe not...
  5. with Mayfields stocks dropping, interesting...
  6. McCarron gives Buffalo more options IMO I realize a big part of the Bills fan base have already put all their eggs in one basket on a complete unknown at this point, but that may not be the case with McD/Beane. McD is a D guru...
  7. lol, you have a dirty mind though J I mean that in a nice way
  8. Bills/Bama fan myself Ice so I'm enjoying this my friend, I hope all is going well with you, Still shoveling lots of snow here in PA, I know how much you love ice and snow
  9. Its amazing what having the best of the best to throw the football to will do for a fella eh Mickey, thanks for this post because when you see a name like Joe Montana at 52% it just goes to show what a guy like Jerry Rice means to a QB.
  10. McCarron has the upper hand over a rookie having been in the league a few years so I wouldn't judge anything by who starts the regular season behind center. If McCarron starts the rookie could still be right on track with how the coaching staff intends on handling his development in my humble opinion.
  11. I think If coach Saban were to pop in and read a few pages of this thread he would smile. thanks OP
  12. SDS will love this intro, lol
  13. haha, I know what you meant, A J's a good athlete that extends plays and can throw well on the run in my humble opinion. Don't quote me on this , but McCarrons throws were clocked at 53 MPH If I remember correctly,( Peterman by example 49)
  14. media and on the field pressure eh, McCarron handles pressure very well in my opinion, see's everything, always look down field to make a play. I disagree with that knock red
  15. It really boils down to what guy fits your style coaching, system, and supporting cast so there really is no right or wrong answer in my humble opinion BuffaloBill.
  16. I don't think the Bills prefer that at all in my humble opinion Yo. Best case scenario for all concerned is McCarron can hold down the fort until the rookie is up to speed and has a good understanding of the O IMO.
  17. true that, Allen kid is loaded with raw talent and can make throws no other QB in the top 5 can make in my humble opinion. Kid needs to be groomed...
  18. The rookie won't be starting IMO Allen is a project...
  19. Difference between the two is Taylors ceiling in the passing game has been established, McCarron on the other hand has not. Both good game managers that protect the football IMO.
  20. Or possibly even better then anyone in the upcoming draft class. Funny after over a decade and a half of trying to find the next franchise many Bills fans are so certain our guy is waiting right around the corner they fail to see whats standing right in front of them. I get the excitement of a top 5 QB from the next draft class , but the top two will in all likelihood be gone and hanging your hat on more of an unknown then A J McCarron doesn't make much sense to me at this point in my humble opinion. albeit my opinion is tainted crimson...
  21. I think it also makes sense because theres no guarantee a rookie QB out of this or any draft class will succeed in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills have been searching since the days of J K. McCarron may have a higher ceiling which has yet to be determined. ( then available rookies )
  22. I just seen the same kind of comments on another thread. Allen is a project and McCarron wasn't brought here to be a place matt. Keep hearing over and over McCarron couldn't beat out A Dalton so how good could he be? I for one am glad we're about to find out...
  23. I'm really starting to like our new GM
  24. ...Beane is the man... ...Beane man...
