I'm talking about tre lance was compared to Josh Allen and he had a lot of expectations Geno Smith was a second round pick who played a lot his first two years not great.. and then did bust his ass on the bench for 6 years till he got his next chance He also was known as a terrific thrower of the football coming out of college he just had a long learning curve

I think Draymond Green is a borderline Hall of famer You hit on all the good points... True defensive Stalwart But the only pure defensive guy in the Hall of Fame recently in my mind is Ben Wallace.. and Draymond is not on Ben Wallace's level Ben Wallace might be the best defense if player in the last 30 years But I do agree he's on the borderline if you even had a little bit more offensive variety he probably be a lock.. now I think he's probably looking at towing the line for years -
We are going into year 8 in the EP offense.. Which is designed around simplicity and the ability to change roles easily There's a lot of talk between the EP, West Coast, or the coryell system... Which basically are verbiage systems today There is a West Coast playbook but when people talk about West Coast they're usually talking about the verbiage system.. how the plays come in The difference is how simple the EP is compared to the complexity of a West Coast verbiage A typical West Coast call might sound like this. .. Green right x shift to viper right 382 x stick looky .. and that is a small play call a lot going on .. line calls, receiver calls and a motion The EP condenses it F right 72 ghost/tosser .. entire play script..n offensive line wide receivers and running backs know what to do There's a reason why Bill belichick liked the EP.. and you can flip rolls very easily It allows for mastery of multiple wide receiver positions and you get out of the play clock sooner Today's football lesson why the EP is very modern and Josh should even be taking more and more steps being ingrained in the system for so long

Ah yes I hate it when teams are prepared and play the defense that I can't beat! The audacity -
Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?

35 rookie wide receivers were drafted last year and he was 8th in yards Again he certainly was not spectacular but he was not trash and he was better than 85% of rookie wide receivers Of course he needs to get better but he has stuff to build on -
Gino had basically 30 starts before the Jets gave up on him The niners gave up on Trey Lance after like 5 The lights were too bright and the expectations were too high.. they were calling him a Josh Allen type All of that was a recipe for disaster

Anything with the bills in the off season is fun for me I'd rather have someone be eccentric then very dull But I do understand your point that cam is not everybody's cup of tea... But it's always interesting to hear another NFL quarterback think why another quarterback is special
-
I've had plenty of life experience and there's plenty of people here who have it to And everybody doesn't hate Cam Newton just because he's eccentric Rapists are bad people... Give me a break you're an angry person Go to church

Trey Lance has 6 career starts 3rd overall pick
-
Awesome bro You without sin cast the first stone I don't know Cam Newton and as I said he is donated millions of dollars, runs football camps for children, all of his teammates loved him as their own teammate It sounds like you're a broken person my guy because I'm nobody to judge Cam Newton

I'm sure there's people in Buffalo who would enjoy that I'm on the road a bunch but when I'm home I try to catch shows

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?

He doesn't need a drastic change he just needs to keep improving and work hard ... By all accounts he's not a lazy person... He also went to the top of the depth chart at both power five colleges he went to showing he buys in Again if he had 150 yards I would be seriously concerned He had over 500 and got banged up during the season.. I think he squarely has the potential to be a 800 yd receiver yearly and maybe even a little more If you're not an all pro.. or pro bowler.. or a thousand yard receiver that doesn't mean your trash There is a middle ground that plenty of good football players fall into -

Hardman has been trash for years.. Coleman last year was better than a 5-year veteran Hartman that's a fact .. we're not talking about the guy who 4 years ago went for 700 yards Hardman has 200 yd in the last 2 years. . so no Coleman did outplay a guy like that You literally act like somebody can't improve their catching percentage lol And everybody in Kansas City thought hardman had tons of potential 5 years ago he just didn't do anything more Trash means bottom of the barrel... Coleman in fact had better stats than a lot of wide receivers last year.. it is complete hyperbole to call a rookie with 500 yd trash.. do you know how many rookies last year did not get 500 yards? you obviously had insane expectations which were never going to be fulfilled because I think 500 yards while hurt is not the end of the world Eric moulds didn't have 300 yards his rookie or sophomore campaign.. and I was always willing to give him time -

You act like he had three catches for 90 yards .. that 30 yards per catch wouldn't mean nothing He did have over 500 yd with a really good average Plenty of wide receivers in the NFL did not get 500 yards last year You're overblowing how trash he was.. nobody is saying he was amazing.. but he did make some plays He has more yards as a rookie than a guy like me a meocole hardman has had the last three seasons That's trash And Pierce is a solid football player With a defined skill set.. he is a solid deepthreat I never once said yards per catch is the single biggest thing for determining a great wide receiver... But 30 catches is a big enough sample size to know that he is capable of being a big play guy and Coleman has to improve his consistency -

I understand what you're saying about the g league and the effort for sure They are professional basketball players trying to make the biggest league in the world It has to be high effort.. but I'm just too ingrained in the college basketball and love the traditions and rivalries and hustle I really don't even watch the NBA except for some playoffs but college basketball is definitely a love -

As I said he certainly wasn't awesome But there's a difference between being outright trash and even being subpar after his injury -

Buffalo716 replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
After his injury he was not that productive Before his injury he wasn't lighting the world on fire but he was making some plays There's no world where 19 yards of catch is trash lol if he had nine yards a catch sure that's trash Brandon bean and McDermott are trying to light a fire under the ass of the first person they took in the last draft He averaged 19 yards a catch that's 100,000% something to build on Sean McDermott never called elam trash even though he was much worse than Coleman ever was.. because Elam probably couldn't take it and he knows Coleman can there Coaches push players in different ways.. some players need to be coddled some need a fire lit under their ass... McDermott clearly thinks he knows what kind of guy Coleman is and that he needs the fire -

He averaged 20 yards of catch last year and basically almost had the same amount of regular season stats as Xavier Worthy He wasn't trash even though he wasn't great -

You could spin that anyway you want You could also spin it that he has a lot of room to grow because he does.. and when he gets route running nuance down his separation will go up Like there's very few players in the NFL who do not improve from year one to three with a good coaching staff.. I expect steady improvement -

Better than DK? With a higher percentage of contested balls I'm pretty sure players are allowed to improve
