  1. A stadium downtown will do nothing for the economy of Buffalo Buffalo is already a beautiful place, with a lot going for it The places that are struggling are like the east side.. the biggest area of Buffalo And a stadium downtown is going to do nothing for the East side , the place that needs it the most Downtown, canalside, the harbor, Allentown, Shea's district, are all beautiful and gorgeous.. and have money flowing through them Parts of the West side and the East side need a lot of help.. new stadiums doing nothing for them
  2. When the bills build new stadium.. there will be no doubt in their future Except the negative nancies who like to play Doom.. our local politicians who we voted for, know they need to get us a stadium or they're not getting reelected And I don't think a stadium downtown will be the revival of Buffalo.. cities been in revival for 20 years... one Neighborhood at a time... And there's been a lot of studies shown that there's no economic impact from a new stadium
  3. It's going to end up going where it's going And buffalo isn't any of those cities you named .. it has its own identity The fact that a downtown stadium is going to cost astronomically more, and that there's no economic impact Is definitely going to swing judgment As much as you are hoping for that rail line from the city to the airport it is never going to happen
  4. Something Tells me that's not going to happen , seeing as the UB track and field team participate there still I believe I don't think they're going to uproot their home turf
  5. Ofc The difference between 15000 and 65000 is astronomical though
  6. I absolutely agree Huge difference between designed runs and scrambling outside the pocket to pass or run Josh has always been extremely effective at getting outside the pocket and being a dual threat.. it's one of the best facets of his game He needs to continue to utilize it..when he gets outside The tackle box, he's super accurate and a big time playmaker
  7. That's awesome! I will never forget those early days Horns up 🤘
  8. I was at that inaugural game also Had season tickets since they returned
  9. I don't think tickets are selling for pennies on the dollar But I know a few season ticket holders who are selling their tickets
  10. Taron Johnson is super underrated... He does so many things well When he gets hurt... The bills literally use 3 players to replace him Idk if we can resign him... Some team will offer him a fairly fat contact for a slot corner. Which is a starting position in McDermott's defense 3 year 30 million.. 22 guaranteed Gives him an opportunity for another contact
  11. Yea I forgot to mention him, someone else did tho
  12. That's true But I don't think that was the point of the article It's that they are also playing hardball with the city of Chicago
  13. There's really not any advanced metric right now that I know of that analyzes success of taking away the seams But if you just watched the Bills defense for the last 3 years.. how often do we get hit 15 yards down the seam? Very rarely.. and that's one of tremaine's responsibilities
  14. We very rarely get hit up the seam because of the depth of Edmunds drops and his length Look how much Josh targets the seams... We rarely get hit their because they can't throw over Tremaine but keep it in front of the Safeties... His length makes the trajectory near impossible
  15. Here's the thing with McDermott He almost universally puts defensive players in their best spot to succeed... From Star players like Tre White... to Depth role players like Dean Marlow Jordan Phillips a bust in Miami turned into a double-digit sack guy because Sean McDermott put him in his best spot succeed... That's his MO I'm not doubting that he can play outside linebacker... But McDermott almost never puts a square peg into a round hole defensively McDermott must believe that his defensive scheme is built around Edmunds length in the middle His real effectiveness is in all the plays you don't see happen.. all the times he forces the quarterback to hold on to the ball or go somewhere else
  16. Definitely acts out there all over the country But the amount of acts out there that could fill stadium shows are slim pickings The New stadium is going to be a football stadium I'm sure they will try to book a a few shows a year.. but there's not a lot of Acts filling up stadiums There's a huge difference between filling an arena like HSBC and a stadium like the Ralph
  17. I don't think the age of the stadium is the point of the article It's that they're willing to build their own stadium if they don't get what they want from the city .. outside of the city Buffalo's not the only city with some hard ball being played over a stadium
  18. Of course there's some risk If You don't take that risk.. you're stuck taking the Chris Kelsey's of the world.. and are 7-9 infinitely
  19. That was the bills scouting departments downfall during the drought It's not about getting the best football player on draft day... It's about who's the best player three years after the draft Player development and projection is key.. bills did a terrible job at projection for a long time
  20. People like to hate on everything and anything For what it's worth I've always thought Chicago was like a much bigger Buffalo as well... Buffalo has that Midwest type vibe opposed to a NYC or Boston vibe... Beautiful architecture , food etc Not to mention it's a Midwestern dialect we speak in Buffalo... Our vocabulary and lingo are all Midwest not new England or NYC
  21. You would be surprised how many players in the league transform their bodies to maximize talents.. from team suggestions Le'Veon Bell absolutely changed his body from Michigan State when he got to Pittsburgh because they didn't like his look Our very own Lorenzo Alexander.. played defensive tackle in the NFL..bulked to 300+... then the Redskins had him playing offensive line defensive line and tight end... Then he trimmed down to 240 lb to play outside linebacker Absolutely insane If you want to make a team a lot of players will do absolutely anything to stick.. especially if you're on the back half of a roster
  22. And the bills paid $130 million to upgrade the Ralph with black paint
  23. Is it brand new or just fully refurbished? Like they did to Lambo and arrowhead I don't recall ever getting torn down and rebuilt... Just a massive upgrade
