  1. He's not falling, because he's not even in the 1st rd category. Mayfield will fall to 12 or beyond. And Allen. The rest will go seemingly close to where they are projected
  2. Lmao! Its all good, sir. Quite frankly, I'm not sure if I'm coming or going the last week of FA lol. That said, Beautiful women Trump everything? hope Stormy don't think your "worm" is turrible lol
  3. Well, Beane said their FA money is about gone. Maybe a few small deals and that's about it. That said, I'm still surprised they gave Star that kind of money. But if it fills a need for 5 years, and they can count on him to do exactly what they require, then I guess it's better than spending a high pick on an unknown I was being sarcastic to the sky is falling, fire Beane crowd lol. Just a joke lol. There IS still business to conduct, and he's handling it?
  4. Same Ol Bills, but with A lot of draft picks in the top 100. Instead of purging picks for a move up for a WR, we purged players for picks. That WONT be spent on positions of lesser needs....I'm still very confident in Beane, and his plan. 6 weeks can't pass soon enough. Hate to wish my time away, but April is otherwise slow & uneventful in my household anyway lol
  5. Again, if that's a possibility for them to get our guy, do it. But that doesn't seem likely now. And I don't see them reaching for scraps at a huge price. That's all I meant
  6. I just wonder wth they're wasting time on FA visits when they should be on the phones with NYG all day today? Weird! Almost like there's still business to conduct?
  7. Yeah, I think we do. But I just don't see Beane doing that. I've pretty much reserved myself to the notion that if any of "the big 4" fall to 12 we probably draft him. Otherwise, the search continues
  8. What's worse? Passing on Rosen at 12, or on Evans at 22? Horrible mock
  9. Relationships count. But Money talks! Or in this case, draft picks
  10. I agree wholeheartedly with this post. Also, if the cards should fall that we simply miss on "our" guy this year, I can certainly see the braintrust trading away #22 for someone's first next year to give us a shot then. Yeah, the class isn't slated to be as good as this year, but there's always one that seems to be a franchise guy. And as long as we maintain an upper hand when it comes to capital, I gotta have faith that they will Identify, and be in a position to strike, without overspending or reaching out of panic at the detriment of the rest of the team. Next year is shaping up to be a good year. We will have a ton of cap space and this team should be rebuilt for several years to come. After that, its all gravy. Just maintain and stay the course
  11. Absolutely. And with Chubb, Fitzpatrick, Nelson and maybe even a top LB, I have a hard time seeing Barkley going that early. He IS a beast, no doubt. Living near, and working at Penn State, I'm very familiar with him and his exceptional talent. But there's a whole lot of talent elsewhere that teams typically put a higher premium on than RB. Just my belief
  12. Wishful? Maybe. Not that its gonna matter, the only QB worth trading up for will likely be gone by #5 anyway. And that logic leads me to believe the Broncos will also pass
  13. You say the QB's are all "similarly" rated. But to whom? The national media?? Gimme a break. You don't know how each team grades them. I doubt VERY highly that teams all share a consensus on QB's like Rosen/ Allen. I call straight up BS on that notion The only way he goes in the top 4 is if Cle don't trade out of that spot. And still, with Chubb n Nelson, or Fitzpatrick there, its not even a lock at #4. Best overall player in the draft? Maybe. But not worth the cost at that point
  14. I agree So Tier, on Denver's strategy. I don't see them going QB at this point. But, who knows? Except all of us here at this lovely message board? He might turn out good. But, he needs the right coaching, and time to adjust. I just don't think that's in the Bills' interest at this juncture. Its not like he'd sit behind Favre a few years. We need a pro-ready QB. To me, its Rosen, followed by Darnold. Even Darnold is a stretch to start as a rookie imo. The rest definitely should have some time before starting
  15. He won't go top 3. In fact, if Cle stays at 4, he may go. If they trade out, Barkley slips past 4. The only way he sniffs top 4 is if Cle stays put with both picks and grab a QB #1
  16. My money is on the son of the Surgeon to have the highest score?
  17. It's like J.R. High here. Good grief Umm....like maybe we feel good to have him.we'll see where we go from here? Maybe? Just like Cle pronouncing TT the starter. What else was he to say? Everybody just lies I guess lol
  18. No? Because Vance Joseph himself said that "he is the missing piece". Must be he's a liar and you have the REAL scoop? If so, by all means, share with your Bill's brethren man!!
  19. I get that. My point is, we don't know anything. But at the same time, maybe it was just a bargain for a good QB. I mean, there's been good QB's on cheap deals before..... In the same breathe, Hue Jackson said no question that Tyrod is his starter. They gave up less than we did for AJ. So, is that what he was expected to say, too??
  20. We need a lb in the worst way. No doubt, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Evans or Edmunds the target at 12 if we can't land Rosen, Darnold, or Mayfield Or maybe you missed Beane saying that he does not think of McCarron as a bridge QB?
  21. Lol. I didn't say he was their long-term plan. I just think they gave him more than backup money to hold the fort for 2 years, hence removing them from 1st rd QB market. They paid for a starter, so they can upgrade the rest of the roster that is not too far removed from a SuperBowl
  22. I just don't see it. I think Elway knows he sucks at evaluating QB's so he's gonna upgrade the roster with a vet QB, and a few more pieces before the window closes on an otherwise good defense
  23. After just paying Keenum 36 million and Joseph stating that he was the "missing" piece? I think Denver is out of the first rd QB market
