    Makes sense...most of the teams that scored the most points make the playoffs. That was overlooked apparently lol. Maybe we didn't sign every top FA, but we improved our roster. It filled needs. The draft is going to be the biggest part of improvement in the coming years

    In 3 years both Allen and Edmunds could be re-signed. Milano will need done. Dawkins. Regardless of your opinions of those guys, they have 2 more years to earn contract extensions. And who knows what their worth will be at that point. I'd rather have enough $ to sign them all than not have enough

    We didn't cut those contracts/players to rebuild our team. We cut them to rebuild the organization. We are doing well to that point. No sense in getting all that cap space just to turn around and spend it on similar contracts. In two or three years, we will need that cash to re-sign our own drafted players. We are going to be in good shape for that

    Beasly, Brown. Both will have td's this year. Mitch Morse should also help Shady, Gore, and Allen get into the end zone as well

    I absolutely agree! We can't miss on a 1st rd pick. They Definately will have more info on these issues than John Q Fan will. I trust their dillegence to make the right call Yes. Shortly thereafter

    I think so. The kid looks like a beast. Whether or not he'll be rated higher than a D-line at 9 on McBeane's board is anyone's guess tho. I'd be thrilled to have him, just don't know if value=pick at that point in the draft. One thing's for sure...I can't WAIT for the draft

    I just don't see an issue other than onetime when his character is concerned. And honestly, I think Applewhite was unnecessarily belittling the kid in a personal way other than football related. Just my opinion of course. I guess my point is, the overall body of work, minus that one incident, shows zero concern in the character department. Again, just my opinion

    Oh, I absolutely agree with that. Maybe I'm biased, but I really think he'd be a terrific fit at 3tech for us. Outstanding against the run, and high potential to disrupt in the backfield, be it sacks or pressures or TFL's Regardless, no doubt McBeane will do their due diligence and I trust them to make the right choice

    That may be so, but that doesn't fit the narrative you've created that he attempted to physically assault his HC and needed to be restrained. I highly recommend you read Applewhite's comments following this one time occurance about Oliver's passion for the game and his high character. It may ease your stance pertaining to your dislike of him as a player/person/teammate

    Lindstrom would be a great guard, but for versatility, Risner would be the way to go

    Adding 2 above average players didn't improve the line? At minimum, 40% of our line has improved, and the draft is yet to come

    Not meaningful? Holy Moly. Its Definately meaningful when it shows a players' prowess to diagnose, shed blockers, and shoot a gap quickly. Not sure how that doesn't mean anything. Isn't that EXACTLY what he will be drafted for and asked to do?

    Trade Dawkins? Maybe That's your upper lip you're smelling. After signing Morse, DD is our 2nd best O lineman. And still on a rookie deal. Nobody would give up proper compensation for a trade with him IMO

    Except those players were BPA at the time of those picks on McBeane's big board. So there's that too....

    Huh? 50 times? So Donald had 250 TFL in college? I did not know that TFL are a real stat too. Oliver dominated Lots of kids sit out bowl games. Its very common these days

    And I'll remind those that think he is a potential cancer to read what Applewhite said following this isolated incident about Oliver's high character. Many, including various local media in Houston defend Oliver.
