  1. Gimme OT Williams and this will have been a successful FA if we only add depth players from here on out. Dawkins/ Long/ Morse/ Lindstrom/ Williams
  2. The chiefs were good before Mahomes. Texans had an amazing D before Watson, but I agree that we need to be better. The Bears might be a good comparison for us at this stage. I do think Josh will take a jump this year, but even if he fails miserably, Pegs will allow this regime the full contract to turn things around. I mean, were any other teams as bad off cap wise as we were? It was a major dump of players/cash. If Allen is not the answer, then yes, this regime is tied to him and probably will be gone
  3. Any news on the numbers out there yet?
  4. Better fit and younger. Hope he stays healthy.
  5. You never let them have any fun?
  6. Sweet! He was my guy over Paradis anyway!
  7. Link????? Hurray if so!!
  8. Yup. I'm all for building in the draft and filling holes in FA.We'll be ok
  9. Don't forget Duke Williams & Spencer Long
  10. I agree with Morse! But lets be honest. The chiefs didn't massively improve after Mahommes .They were good before he was drafted
  11. I wholeheartedly disagree. This regime will survive their current contracts. We will agree to disagree. And this whole notion of winning while on a cheap QB contract window is the very definition of the word "bull" that you are looking for. What a crock of horseshit Yes it was serious. 3 teams does not represent "every other team" with a 2nd year QB "massively" improved
  12. This regime will survive the duration of its contract. Hopefully beyond. Don't get me wrong, we Definately need to improve. But it took 2 years just to be in position to rebuild successfully. IMO the clock starts now. We shall see. BTW...who are the "every other teams" that had a "massive" improvement in a QB's sophomore year that you speak of?
  13. Lmao...you are a riot Alice. What I just stated is exactly what happened. You must be drinking that corn kool-aid friend
  14. You are funny. They released themselves from cap hell and removed players they didn't like. Every new regime does that to some extent. Do you think that plan wasn't discussed by the owners/ McD BEFORE he was hired? Don't be silly. It was a tough pill to swallow for the greater good of the team. The owners were well aware of the plan and were either a) ok with it, or b) encouraged by it. Or McD wouldn't have been hired. Keep in mind, on the front that we couldn't replace talented players with at least equal talent, we ended the playoff drought in year 1 of McD's tenure. He's earned my trust moving forward...even if I don't understand some of his moves
  15. Maybe a little high for his production, but 6 mil per ain't horrible I guess
  16. Had a decent year in 17. Was he hurt last year?
  17. Peanuts....for Process
  18. Slow down fella....no way either coach or GM are gone until at minimum the end of next year
  19. Not the point man. We already had a RB at that price. Younger. Had a decent year. Why just trade that production in the form of an older RB? I understand. But it wasn't a need
  20. Then why pay him? Could have signed 12 Undrafted kids for camp fodder
  21. So, equal money for older legs and more fumbles. I just don't get it. If we needed a RB, then fine. But we didnt
