  1. I think the biggest leverage is monies. Buffalo is 13 mil under the cap, while Baltimore is barely 2 mil under. That could definitely sway a signing. Something to consider. ..
  2. Actually, besides missing the whole season with an Acl, he's only missed like 10 games in 6 seasons. Thats not brittle like "Glass Goodwin"...
  3. Obviously not as physically talented as Clay, but O'Leary took a big step last year. He catches very well and improved his blocking. Hopefully it will continue. Barnidge or not, I expect us to add to the TE depth at some point in the near future because you're right, we need some help at that position
  4. According to Shady, TT texted him the news as he was landing in Rochester for his charity softball game and told Shady to "get on the phone with Mac". Im hoping this HuffPost report is true
  5. Fwiw, HuffPost reporting that "preliminary talks" have begun between Maclin and Bills 👍
  6. Yes! If we somehow end up with a 1st next year AND Maclin out of this trade it will be a blessing. Not only do we get their 1st, but exponentially weaken their roster(thus making our 1st round pick assumingly higher) , that would be a job well done by first time HC/GM. Get it done OBD! Its on the Bills pageHe wasn't cut yet at that point, so recruiting didnt happen at the wedding
  7. It was actually TT that informed Shady that Maclin had been cut, and to get on the phone to recruit him. That's interesting....
  8. Im thinking London Fletcher should be somewhere on that list, along with Pat Williams
  9. And how to avoid it....
  10. Good size. Also, he had a ton of balls thrown his way opposite King with some decent numbers. 144 tackles in two years, couple picks, and decent amount of PBU's.If its an upgrade over Dowling, so be it
  11. Noble man. Thank you ,Bob.And all vets
  12. That'd be the "Clay Gun" right? Probably not the best choice with a persistent knee issue. Not when you got a good o-line & Shady McCoy.
  13. More importantly, was Peterman Whaley's or McD's pick??
  14. Sorry...a full tenth lol Hey, I billieve in aliens lol!Seriously tho, he's not too slow. He is as fast as Foster and the like. The kid can ball. Im expecting a great year from him. Injuries happen, but from coaches accounts, including Leslie Frazier, he can play olb if need be. Maybe not ideal, but quality. Again, as long as McD finds his best value, and the fact that he can play all three spots tells me we dont even know what we have yet. Just because he wasn't asked to do thosr things at Bama, dont mean he cant do them. The kid is an ace in the hole IMO. Im more curious to see who wins the other two spots, and where the three line up than I am to wonder whether or not he's gonna be a good player.
  15. If I'm not mistaken, he improved his 40 time by a full second from the combine to his pro day. 4.62 I believe. That's not really too slow. It puts him on par with some good lbers. Mix that in with his instincts, and i think he will be well worth his draft position for years to come. He will need to find his spot of course, but that onus is on McD. Im as thrilled today to see him play as i was he was drafted. He could very well be a beast in the middle. Tho i see him being interchangeable with all 3 lb spots...which should keep him on the field all 3 downs
  16. Every single game we heard "No,they're not booing, they're saying Bruuuuuce!!"
  17. Really? Holy crap! Thats impressive. Is the record still 63 in the nfl? I knew it was tied, but i thought i recall it being beat a few years back...?
  18. There's a new pro flag football league. I hear Mike Vick is joining. He might be able to squeeze out a few bucks for signing autographs after the game. That seems like his best shot at this point
  19. I agree emphatically
  20. Sounds like he wants TT to play more like Peterman....interesting
  21. Groy is not better than Miller. Miller had a very solid/good season last year, and should only improve. He's a beast in the making
  22. I first moved to Charlotte the day the Panthers played their first ever game, after having grown up 30 minutes from the Ralph. I remember thinking this is Buffalo South with Reich and Metzallars, etc. Guess we've gone full circle and are now Carolina North... Regardless of who deserves credit, none more so than our owners. I have a feeling this thing might get finally turned around
  23. Oh Man, we were doing so good, too. Lol
