Watching Benjamin try to make a contested catch and Zay Jones try to get YAC is high comedy
-
So many Bills OCs give up 1st downs. We play a 2 down offense and there is zero margin for error. If we don't lose 3 yards on 1st down that completion on 3rd down could have meant something.

You probably watch several NFL games every weekend. Does it make you a better NFL QB?
Watching didn't help EJ, or Cardale Jones, or Peterman for that matter.
Players learn by playing. Edmunds plays the most demanding position on defense. Nobody made him sit and learn.
Mahomes has put a big dent in this line of thought.

He's using us for leverage on the Jets. Surprise me Bills. Prove me wrong.
He doesn't have to use anyone as leverage. If he doesn't sign elsewhere the Jets will re-sign him.

On espn pti trailer that bills offered Pryor a co tract. Just hit the screen.
It was reported earlier that we offered him a contract, I think we're just waiting to see if he accepts. We probably won't hear anything one way or another until tomorrow. The fact that he's in Buffalo is a good sign.

Thank god they are trying to do something. No one has any illusions that Pryor is an elite WR but he is at least a #3 or #2 with this group.

This seems like a small time reporter fishing and hoping they get lucky so they can claim they have an inside source.

Rosen has looked terrible for two straight weeks. I feel comfortable saying he's been the worst rookie QB so far. I think it's fair to say the order they were drafted in is the same order of how they rank so far.

Garcon is the player that interests me the most out of all the names mentioned so far. He fits exactly what we're looking for - a veteran dependable starter who can be had at a reasonable price, and already on contract for next season.

Haha we posted at the same time. Would like to see this too.
We have 7 picks in rounds 4-7. We might as well use one of those on a WR.

While we're on the subject...
I bet a 5th or 6th could get Garcon. Even though he's getting older he is a very dependable receiver.

If Shady gets moved. McDermott will lose the locker room, or what may be left of it. He will send a very clear message they have little interest in winning.
If Shady gets moved it's because he approved it. That's why Philadelphia makes sense.

I'm going to watch every second of this game, for some reason. Should be fun.

Imagine watching tonight's game and thinking Buffalo has a better supporting cast than Houston.

In games last season where Tyrod started and the defense kept the opponent at or below 20 points we were 7-2. So yes we almost certainly would have won the Texans game with him. But it wouldn't matter. 6-10 is the same as 4-12 and that's ultimately what the record difference would be this year. I'll take the 3rd round pick and higher draft position in 2019 over one extra season with a QB we know isn't the answer.
-
I wouldn't trade him. The past couple weeks he has looked like a decent #2 which is better than anything else we have. If he continues to actually catch the ball he could be a safety valve for Josh Allen for years to come.

I don't know what to tell people. You don't fire the whole regime after a season where they have $50 million in dead cap. And before anyone brings it up yes I know this regime created the dead cap, but that's the point. They have a plan and they're sticking to it. The owners signed onto the plan. They're not even thinking about firing anyone until they've had a chance to fully implement that plan. IMO the results need to start coming next year, they'll be out of salary cap hell and they'll have had 3 offseasons to rebuild the team.

So the Cowboys passed up Josh Gordon for a 5th, but a high 1st for Amari Cooper is good? This is a horrible decision on their part.

It sure is easy to get rid of a solid core of receivers in one year though wont it? Say what you want about Woods, Goodwin, Watkins and others, they were all better than what we have
I wish we still had Woods. He is building a nice career for himself. We still need a legitimate #1 WR here and this draft has a solid receiving class. Benjamin could make a decent #2 if he plays like he has the past 2 weeks. His catch radius is more valuable in a league where defenders can't play the receiver. Just throw it a little high and he can stand there and grab it without any defenders having a chance on the ball.
-
It's unfortunate Tyrod got worse every single season of his starting career, including this season where he played worse than ever. If he's here we probably win last week but that's the only difference. The pick we got for him was much more valuable than anything he could have contributed this year.

This is the first game that makes me really question Daboll. At first I attributed our problems to a rookie QB, but now you have a veteran who was making pretty good reads and throws before the game got out of control. And we just kept running the ball for no yards. I don't get it. The modern NFL is not set up for a run heavy offense. You don't run to set up the pass anymore. Sure if you're getting chunks on rushes, keep running the ball. But if it isn't working you should immediately start passing the ball constantly. It is so easy for receivers like Kelvin Benjamin to make plays with modern rules. He can just stand there and reach up for the ball and defenders can't touch him. You can throw a swing pass to a RB and get 5 yards a lot easier than you can if you hand it off to him. That's what NFL offenses are now. And there's Daboll calling runs up the middle on 1st and 2nd down. Defenses can only do so much with the rules the way they are. Sometimes your offense needs to make plays to stay on the field and ours isn't getting it done because of cowardly play calling. The biggest problem today on either side of the ball was Daboll IMO.

He is a below average game manager who has been with the team 10 days, and he was forced to try and come back from a 4 score deficit with mostly garbage around him on offense. If he was the QB last week we probably would have won, but in no universe is Derek Anderson winning a shootout. Allen can learn something from watching him, just don't copy his mechanics.

Bills season is over. Over.
If the Bills can get any.. ANY.. draft pick for KB: send him packing.
We also need receivers next year and I'm not convinced we can replace our entire corps in a single season.
