Sheesh I guess the defense gave everything they got last week, this is ugly

Bears up 17-7 on the Pats
I just saw Trubisky is 3-11 for 39 yards. How does that score happen with that stat line?

I feel crazy saying this but Derek Anderson playing his first game in 2 seasons is the last problem on our offense

Realizing that going into the game makes watching train-wrecks like the one unfolding today easier to bear imo.
Yup, this whole season feels like an extended preseason to me. No loss this year is going to sting too bad.

When we face young playcallers - the D looks good.
When we face cerebral wizards like Flacco, Rivers, Rodgers, and Luck - our youth is easily exposed.
True sometimes you need to be able to keep pace on offense. That's what the modern NFL wants.

Getting exposed because we arent generating a pass rush this game
I'd say we're getting exposed because the offense can't stay on the field for more than a minute. This defense isn't elite. Our play calling sucked and finally we get a good drive going only for Clay to fumble. That's how you lose a game early.

Clay will be the last of the overvalued Whaley players to get cut and it will be a great day

Ivory the Bruiser duck out of bounds instead of getting another 3 or 4 yards with contact.
You really showed your hand with this post. Time to to back to your real team's forum.

Clay is garbage. That should be overturned but knowing our luck it won't be.

Let's see if we come out passing the ball
-
Anderson can throw the ball just fine. I don't know why we're running so much when it isn't working.
-
Another 2nd down run for 0 yards
-
We can't keep running on 2nd down and expect to keep drives going
-
I'm telling you Anderson will look better because the NFL rules make passing so much easier now. You can throw to covered receivers.

Carr, Cooper, Thomas. Instant offense.
Let peterman, Benjamin, Anderson go.
with this defense we have a chance. Allen can sit behind Carr ala Rodgers and Farve for a few years.
This really wouldn't be a bad plan, as crazy as it sounds at least we would be trying to get the offense settled once and for all. I would go for Carr and one of Thomas or Cooper if they are all actually available.

If there's a chance Peterman plays he should be working on his form tackle

Well we need to do something. Beane isn't completely against making a trade this year, he was in on Khalil Mack before the price got out of control. One of Thomas, Cooper, or Pryor should be a Bill by the time Allen comes back. What have we got to lose?

This is an interesting question. I'd give up a 2nd for him personally because QB is that important. But I doubt he will get moved before the end of the season.

I disagree. He has pocket mobility and maneuverability even though he's no threat to run.
Really? Every time there was pressure in the pocket he was either sacked, stripped, or threw the ball into the ground on his way down.

The last couple of weeks the Bills OL has been decent. Tonight was a clown show for the ARI OL with both starting Guards out and Von Miller creating havoc.
Sure but Rosen also has no escapability from the pocket whatsoever. Which was a known flaw of his coming out of UCLA. That was my biggest concern about him pre-draft. If you can't ever evade pressure you will not survive the NFL.

Lol did they just call a screen on 4th and 16? Followed by a meaningless play where their rookie QB almost got seriously injured. Wilks should be fired for this game alone.

Peterman is watching this game with the faintest of hopes

I do blame Whaley for leaving us with the worst salary cap situation in the league. I hate this season trust me but it's what I expected. Next year should be much better and if it isn't they'll be on the hot seat.
