I think TE is a huge underrated need for next year. I wouldn't mind taking one in the top 2 rounds, admittedly I don't know what the prospects look like this year. I would go into next season with Croom, a rookie, and bring in competition for Logan Thomas.

Let's just say it: If the Bills were 54-51 winners last night, most of you haters would be LOVING this
Of course. But if this is what the NFL is going to become, I wont be tuning into games outside the Bills nearly as much as I do now. So much of the offensive production yesterday was due to wide open receivers and defensive penalties. There's nothing exciting about that. Easily the most exciting plays of the night were Aaron Donald's strip sacks.

These 2 coaches are amazing at designing the plays...the amount of wide open receivers they have on any given play is insane. Hill is unguardable. As is kelce. As is hunt out of backfield. On of them or sammy are wide open every play.
I saw a lot of defenders slipping last night. There was something wrong with the field. And the refs called every defensive penalty they could but a bunch of offensive holdings and false starts weren't called. Feels like the NFL was trying to run up the score.

People don't want college scores to become the norm in the NFL, no matter how hard they try to make it happen.

It feels like both offenses screwed up big time on their final drives. Chiefs were throwing 7 yard passes to the middle of the field with 40 seconds on the clock and at least 50 yards to go.
-
If the Rams just ran it 3 times this game would be as good as over.

Why are you throwing the ball?
He got way too cute with that play calling. There's being aggressive and there's being stupid.

Man I miss Woods. Such a smart player, knowing he has to go down in bounds.
What is McVay thinking right now?

Oh look the CB the Chiefs traded away for nothing

If the Chiefs had spent that $16 million on a secondary they'd be a sure Super Bowl team. Just saying.

That's the first time in NFL history both teams have scored 50+ points.

I'm sorry but this is so boring. There are very few great offensive plays in this game. Just wide open receivers all over the field and zero defensive effort in the secondary.
-
Another wide open receiver who coasts into the endzone from 10 yards out. They just keep getting away with it.

I don't understand how Kelce ends up that wide open in the middle of the field. I can't tell if the offensive play design is that good or if the Rams are just stupid.

We're not scoring like these guys are. Don't get me wrong, Allen played his best game and was a monster on the run, but these teams can move the ball at will. Against really good defenses themselves. I don't think much of the Vikings tbh.
I was actually talking about last week. The Vikings game was another example though.

I just wanted to come into this thread and see how "see, this is what an offense looks like" comments there are....
You know what's funny is the Bills put up 41 points against a defense that has statistically been better than either of these defenses, and we had the luxury of taking our foot off the gas early. Even with our questionable cast of players we are capable of this. I'd like to see what Daboll can do after an offseason focused on building the offense.

Wow what a play by Woods. I guess our mistake was putting him 2nd to Watkins.

Goff has looked off tonight. I'm not even taking about that turnover, just in general his passes haven't been as accurate as usual.

colts arent gonna make playoffs
You don't think so? I think they have better odds than the other 5-5 teams, the Bengals and Ravens.

Rams are the real deal. Chiefs not so much.
The Chiefs offense is for real but they have no playmakers on defense which will ultimately be their undoing. It's also still an Andy Reid coached team and I don't trust them for a minute in the playoffs. I could see them going against the Colts in round 2 and losing.

Who says defense doesn't matter anymore? Rams might win off of 3 TDs on turnovers.

Do you guys like these high scoring crazy games? Serious question.
I personally find it brutal. It’s like if you hold them to a field goal, it’s a win for the defence.
It is a bit disappointing watching the NFL become college football. I don't watch any college. It doesn't really excite me watching screen passes and wide open receivers. Although if the Bills can ever put an offense like this together I won't complain.

That was wide open even by Texas Tech standards. Crazy.

Croom isn't great by any means but he knows the system and we need 3 TEs next year.
