That’s what I expect too. We are pretty much Panthers north. If the new panthers owner gets silly and wants their own new identity, I could see the Bills trying to trade for Cam.

I feel like it would be Shula. I like Shula, what he did with Cam and playcalling was very creative. We obviously have strong connections to the old Panthers guys.

Hire McCoy and send Tyrod, 22 and a 3rd for Phil Rivers. A guy guy can dream I suppose...

But he was a terrible passer and was clueless about reading defenses. He had some of the worst footwork I have ever seen in the NFL. He couldnt throw the same pass twice. I want a guy without limitation.

I have watched him several times. I don’t want him. Im not saying he’s not good, I’m not saying he won’t be good. I just don’t think it will work, mainly because of his height and I would rather let another team take that chance.

“IMO” This guys attitude doesn’t strike me as a “McDermott” guy. That is pure speculation obviously. To me, I feel like these guys in charge would move heaven and earth to get a guy like Darnold. And when I say “a guy like,” I mean Darnold.

I don’t want another short QB. Unless somehow it’s Drew Brees, I want a normal height QB. I’m tired of having to only check a few of the boxes. I want an all around good player at the position for a change. It’s been damn near 30 years here...Let’s make a move at some point.

If the Bills are interested in trading Tyrod, perhaps one of these money ball nerds will latch on to some of these stats and give up more then we expect. Hopefully someone like Mike Schopp gets hired to run a team in the NFL. That could probably solve 2 of our issues.

I said I won’t complain about Tyrod. Which I didn’t. I said if we beat the jags I want him back next year. I’m not complaining I’m just saying there are guys I want more.

I would take Fitz over what we have now, now doubt.

What about Marrying a new QB with a guy that he has experience with? Maybe hiring a coach from the chiefs to be the OC and bringing in Smith. Keeping guys together that already have a working relationship and can get the offense going right away. Just kind of spitballing. Or maybe going all out for Cousins and then trying to hire the Redskins QB coach or something and replacing Denison with him. Try to catch some influence of the rams coach and also Gruden.

I want Gaines back. This Defense was so good when all 4 of those guys played. I get he won’t be cheap...I still want him here. White is still cheap, take advantage and use the money on Gaines.

Just watching Brees almost never make a bad decision or throw. The guy has won 3 secs before the ball is snapped...It’s like we don’t even get to watch the same sport

I personally probably only would want Darnold. He seems like the poster child for what this regime would want in a QB and a franchise face. We would have the picks to move up to #1 and we could take the luck out of it. The Browns have that 4th pick still so giving them a later pick might not completely be a deal breaker. They are also the Browns and do strange stuff all of the time. If we aren’t going up to get that best guy, I would much rather bring in a proven FA.

Nothing with this team would ever surprise me. Wouldn’t even surprise me to see Tyrod back somehow. No matter how unlikely that sounds, nothing would surprise me. Except of course, getting a true big time QB like Brees or Cousins..that would stun me.

I also really liked what I saw from Brissett. If we ended up drafting a guy in round 2 or 3 and needed a guy for this year..I like Brissett. Or maybe the colts feel the same and you could flip a Kings ransom for Luck. Maybe Luck will ask to be traded and you can roll the dice on his shoulder being okay.
