  1. Since Allen has been QB the offense has averaged 26.75 points/game in the playoffs. For reference that would be good for 6th best in the league last regular season in PPG, and borderline top5 in any given year In that same timeframe the defense has averaged 25.5 points against. That would rank 30th
  2. If we are talking strictly about the playoffs the defense is not close to good enough
  3. If that's the case we are in trouble I'm not counting on Miller coming back at 100%
  4. I want to know who compiled those rankings because Daron Payne was one of the best DTs in the league last season
  5. That's been the Bills offense the last 4 years
  6. Pretty sure you made up like half these bames
  7. No offense but this is a bad graphic and full disclosure I am a big fan of the cover1 guys categories 1-5 are all basically the same in that we know he gets the ball downfield at a high rate: that means TDs will be high, adot high, ypc high, and explosive play percentage (basically a deep reception) all high. It's not that meaningful. 1st down rate is similarly connected. The issue w Davis is that he doesn't do anything except catch the ball downfield that well, PLUS he's a dropper of catchable passes. That's not really wr2 material imo
  8. I mean he had the lowest ADOT among Bills pass catchers so you'd certainly hope so targets/catches does not equal reliability
  9. LOL Knox is so overrated by this board he really doesn't do anything at a high level- can't block well, runs sloppy routes, just an average player overall He is not a mismatch in any sense. Defenses aren't gameplanning Dawson Knox
  10. We struggled vs the Jags under Daboll Dorsey was fine imo
  11. I chalk a lot of it up to the Jets and Dolphins defenses improving We played a more difficult defensive schedule in 2022 than 2021 w similar results
  12. The offense was second in points and yards, I mean how deficient could it have been lol
  13. We need a TE that can run a clean route
  14. really nobody got the heart to tell OP just plain saltwater kills plants too smdh
  15. I haven't thought about him since he left, he's made it clear he wants to be thought of as a former Eagle and not a Buffalo Bill so see ya thanks for the yards
  16. Doesn't they usually stay in a hotel on the night before games
  17. that's literally what this thread is about
  18. Bills spend 49% of their cap on defense and 47% on offense Chiefs spend 35% on defense and 55% on offense Bengals spend 41% on defense and 51% on offense
  19. I don't think that matters at this point. He wasn't healthy in either 2021 or 2022 and tbh I don't know if he's ever going to regain top form Imagine if the Basham or Epenesa picks had been used or traded for guys who play offense. I won't claim to know who they might have been or if it would have made a difference but we've seen the defense at what amounts to full strength and it hasn't been getting the job done in the playoffs. That's the rub for people like me who want to shift resources to that side of the ball.
  20. LOL you are the Thomas Edison of bad takes Yes, the injuries to the defense in 2022 played a big role. But those guys were healthy in 2021 and the result was similar, albeit minus Miller
  21. Maybe. I think you significantly undersell the talent the Bills have had on the defensive side of the ball since 2020 in comparison to the Bengals and Chiefs in particular. It also underlines the point of not having enough horses on offense. Which, while not easy, is certainly correctable as your examples illustrate. imo swap any of those teams' HC and coordinators and the Bills make two SBs and probably win a championship
  22. Again: the fact that the Bills' offense is entirely too QB dependent has been known for three seasons at least There were legitimate questions asked when no competition was brought in at WR2 last year or whether Knox and his deal were the answer at TE Efforts to address the offensive line have been underwhelming while the investment in the dline has continued apace This is hardly Monday morning quarterbacking
  23. As stated my contention is that the roster construction and cap allocation under Beane and McDermott is now being rightfully questioned due to lack of post season success Niners have wins too I don't think it's such a stretch to say this team has underachieved in the playoffs considering who we have at QB
  24. Largely imo due to Allen covering for those problems which has been the case for multiple seasons now. They've had what more than three off-seasons to address it now I think The amount of production the offense generates from Allen doing stuff off schedule the last 3seasons isn't always going to be sustainable
