    At least we can understand how the call was missed, the ref didn't have a good look at the play.

    Yeah, my bad. Angry at myself because as I watched the play my first thought was "you can't do that!" But, not one word from anyone on the booth or sideline and I assumed that they changed the rule.

    That's not the way the play was described. It was a run from the get go.

    & he's stopped behind the LOS is it a sack? The MNF radio team described a play by Russell Wilson as a run and also said that it was Detroit's 5th sack of the night because he lost a yard on the play.

    yup. If not for an implosion on defense and some ineffective play calling/execution coupled with penalties & non-calls it's a different ballgame. IMO the team was out coached and out smarted (on the field) yesterday.

    What they did not do was get down & distance in their favor enough. They didn't force 2nd or 3rd & long often enough to force Eli to hold the ball & give the defense time to get to him. The few times they did dictate it Eli would throw short. If tackles had been made...
