I think that it's safe to say that the Bills will be looking hard at all castoffs. They need depth/competition at both guard and tackle. I would have liked something in the draft, but, I can't complain about the picks. There wasn't one that caused a WTF moment wit me & each pick filled a need. Just couldn't fill all of them.

I'm not in a position to doubt Hackenberg's long term viability, but, I do doubt that he's ready next year. I'd venture year 3 if at all. I believe he is. I also know that I'm probably too rough on Rex. He just has so many warts.

I'd wager the next 2 seasons at the very least. Unless Petty has something that only the jets know about they are stuck with a very good HC and no QB. We on the other hand...

You are ignoring the point. The offense run during the playoffs, against the very best teams in the nation, was very different from the 2015 offense. He was successful against the best in 2014. He was much less successful against the soft part of OSU's 2015 schedule because the offensive schemes were different. Trust me on this one, I watched the games, all of them. Please don't read this as a glowing recommendation for the kid. I don't know whether he'll be successful, but, I know how different the 2014 championship scheme was compared to 2015. One suited his abilities & the other did not.

Not true. My uneducated eyes tell me that UM tried to force Jones into his system. That system doesn't match Jones' skill set. Watch a bit of footage from 14 and then 15. You'll see that the offenses were nothing like each other. Why Meyer decided to try to fit a round peg into a square hole is beyond me.
