We really don't know that do we? If I'm Tyrod I want a more reasonable deal. Bruce Smith did it to us all the time. I'm guessing TT thinks we are slacking right now.
I agree that Fitz isn't worth what he's asking but I think he's asking because the market just went stupid. And given the choice between Hoyer for 8 or Fitz at 12 or something I'm taking Fitz.
It really is an uncomfortable spot I think. Too bad for a good guy but I hope he just ***** on the Jets and they can roll with whatever.
What I heard yesterday was the Jets aren't willing to go more than 8 Mil per yr. Good for them but for all Fitz did for them last year I hope he retires instead of play for them again. Assuming nobody else is willing to give him his asking price. He is kind of on his own island right now.
Jasper was a good guy. Like someone else mentioned, I too would rather take a flyer on a guy like this with a seventh than someone that is 100% getting cut. It would be quite the discovery though.
I can't come to grips with this scenario playing out. Not saying it's the worst thing ever but losing Fred and then Kyle like this a year later and Karlos who's an exciting touchdown a game type? Shudder.
I've done a few and the happiest one for me was when we picked Dareus. I liked whenever I got something from Ralph and for draft days it was free beers and food. I think CountryCletus has it exactly right by the way.
I guess. Like he did turning Chandler into Gronk or maybe Hernandez. If you're on the street and you see Scott Chandler, watch the !@#$ out. He's bad ass now.
Or Goodwin as at least Wallace is a player on the field.
Nah. Morley was a nice guy but pretty laid back. Wallace had edge that if you crossed it he was ALL over you. People used to turn away when they saw him approaching. When Morley approached it was more of a hey come on in and have a cup of coffee.
Really? Well I didn't start at the beginning lol. But anyone suggesting he be paid at that level is out of their head. A bridge deal of some sort is what I see happening.
