It's easy to blame coaches when they abandon the run game against a weak run defense and have 12 men on the field when the opponent misses a game winning field goal. Or when they hurry up at the end of the half to make sure the opponent is able to get their field goal attempt in before the clock runs out.

Burrow looked like this the first month of the season. Mahomes looked like this last week against the same team. Herbert looked like this against the Jets two weeks ago. It happens. It's still mostly Allen's fault, but we could have run the ball literally every snap on offense and won this game easily. Dorsey can't game plan or play call worth a damn.

That, and the penalty on Taron that just changed the outcome of the game. Why bother with 3 hours of playing football if the refs are just going to decide the game anyway?

You mean the one where they forced an off balance desperation throw down field that was 10 yards underthrown? Also good defense. Can't do anything about referees. You're coming across a little unhinged. Hope you got some sleep.

Their last play was a sack that took Denver out of field goal range. Were you even watching at the end or did you just turn it off and tell yourself it's the defense's fault?

This loss is almost entirely on Josh. He doesn't get the sympathy card tonight. Did they? Looked to me like they made another stop. Bad PI penalty and bad coaching penalty blew it in the end.

Sarcasm? Fun fact: the Bills' defense held the Broncos to 2 separate 3 & outs that still counted as scoring drives because the Broncos started off in field goal range.

Especially when the receiver prevents the DB from making a play on the ball. Taron was turning around and Jeudy ran into him.

Hey look, pressure up the middle seems more effective than rushing 4 guys around the edges.

Could have just been running over these guys all game. Still haven't learned to stay away from the low percentage perimeter throws.

Every drive matters the most. They've stopped most of them after our offense and special teams keeps giving the Broncos short fields.

Can't call forward progress the second a player is touched. Should have been incomplete.

And then ran right by Wilson. He's done that a few times. It would be better if he didn't beat the double team and kept contain.

Love Taron Johnson. Defense has been amazing this half.

Feel bad for Cook on that one. Another mental mistake by Allen but people will probably blame Cook.

Pass rush looks so much better without Von in there. Just sit him and let him train back into shape until the playoffs if we manage to get in.

Lots of money tied up in that special teams unit that combined for about 5 missed tackles on one return.

He's so hesitant this year. That's the second deep pass to Shakir that would have been a TD if thrown on time.

To be fair, Denver had about the same amount of defensive players out with injury for that game as we do now. Not the same amount of talent missing, but they were very short handed against one of the most explosive offenses ever.

Because it had no chance of working. Either the defender knocks it down or intercepts it. The only way that route works is if the defense doesn't bother to cover the receiver.

Yeah Allen shouldn't be making these throws but Dorsey also shouldn't be calling them. These plays shouldn't even be an option for Josh at this point. He clearly can't help himself, so just remove them as an option
