  1. We have the worst QB depth chart in the league. If we had a better QB this team would likely have several more wins than they have now.
  2. Definitely need to trade down and stockpile picks.
  3. Doubtful given your second point. They'll promote the young guys and let them compete behind Adams.
  4. If we had an average starting NFL QB we could be 5-3 right now and in the playoff race. We have an elite defense and elite special teams. Our QBs have been our Achilles Heel.
  5. Allen is the worst starting QB in the NFL. We're a QB away from having a really good team.
  6. Hey. I'm just an armchair GM but I'll give you my plan. CURRENT 1. Trade McCoy. His style doesn't fit our offense. He takes too many negative plays and this offense is incapable of overcoming negative plays. Let Ivory and Murphy plow into the line for 3-4 yards a carry and reduce the lost yardage. 2. Cut Benjamin. The guy is useless. Give a younger guy a chance. OFFSEASON 1. Sign Teddy Bridgewater to a 2 year, $20 mil contract. Let him and Allen compete with a new rookie picked in the 3rd or 4th round. If he beats out Allen, so be it. This team will mutiny if the offense isn't drastically better next year. 2. Cut Charles Clay. Another terrible Whaley signing. 3. Sign Donte Moncrief and Geronimo Allison to bolster the WR corps. 4. Trade down!!! Stockpile draft picks. Move down out of the top 5 to pick up either an extra 1st rounder or a couple extra 2nd rounders. We need to stockpile picks and fill out the roster with NFL calibre talent. No more trading away picks to move up for players.
  7. They can't touch the defense. It's the only thing keeping McDermott off the unemployment line.
  8. Tyrod is a much better QB right now than anyone on our roster.
  9. How does McDermott still have a job? He and Beane were the ones who assembled this personnel.
  10. McCoy traded. Benjamin cut.
  11. This is nuts when you consider how different the rules were then. In context, the median scoring offense in 2000 scored 20.15 PPG. This year the median output is 24.45 PPG, which is 21.3% more points. Assuming every team scored fewer points then than they did now, the Bills seem to be far and away the worst offense in the NFL over the past 20 years.
  12. Those guys ran circles around the junk we've had at QB this year. EJ was better than Anderson, Lewis was better than Anderson, and Tuel was better than Peterman.
  13. You can't win in the NFL if you can't score 10 points a game. This offense is historically terrible.
  14. Unbelievable. I guess that's how you wind up scoring 10.7 points a game and failing to score 7 points in 4 of our 8 games played. This offense is historically bad. How is McDermott's seat not scorching hot?
  15. McDermott looks like a good DC but he's completely lost as a HC. You can't have an offense that's this historically bad and not receive a ton of blame. This offense is completely unwatchable. We've failed to score 7 points in four of the eight games we've played!!!
  16. Is that a real stat? Allen and Anderson haven't thrown a TD pass in 5.5 games?
  17. The commentators were saying all night that the Bills receivers can't separate. The guy on the sidelines said "Benjamin is a biscuit away from being a tight end". Our receivers aren't athletic. We don't have a single deep threat on the roster.
  18. We're now averaging 10.7 PPG. You have to go back a long time to find an offense this bad in the NFL. The last offense this bad was the 2006 Raiders.
  19. Woods signed a 5 year $34 mil contact. He's paid like a veteran #3 WR. Williams isn't coming here for $7 mil per year to join the NFL's worst offense.
  20. Agreed. Signing free agents and having to overpay them is exactly how we got in the mess we're in right now. Free agency is for suckers in the NFL. If you want to get better draft better players.
  21. The word "overpay" suggests he's not.
  22. He'll learn to read a D by watching game film. He's not ready to be on the field yet and with the season heading towards a disaster type record I don't see any reason to try and win games anymore. We should be trying to get the best possible draft pick who will help us next year.
  23. I'm fine drafting another QB but the upcoming QB class looks like the worst class since the EJ Manuel year. I don't see a single guy who should go in round 1.
  24. Giving mediocre players huge contracts is the reason our roster is so terrible in 2018. We''re paying for the mistakes the previous regime made in free agency by having to cut bad contracts and absorb dead cap space. We need to pay people what they're worth. We also need to draft a lot better and get some real receivers.
  25. We'll have to pay them a lot more than anyone else is offering. Hard to imagine anyone signing up to join an offense that scores 10 points a game...
