Billsfan89 won the electoral contest and made some money for his charity of choice, Make-A-Wish. What other politics contests could we do, maybe 2-3 times per year, to benefit a good charity? If the regular crowd just pitched in $25/person, we could make a nice donation a few times a year and make something good out of all the stupid arguing we do at PPP. Each November, we will be able to do some kind of election prediction contest but what about other things: Hoping for non-cynical suggestions.

Perhaps the best thing is that in the wee hours of this morning, the "vaunted" legal minds on Trumps strike force amended their motion to include an appeal of Judge Brann's entire decision, probably because Twitter was mocking them for messing up so badly. I believe it’s a lot less malicious. I would say there’s no single chance, single moment in all this. We will have to stop believing we are not each of us hypocritical. That each of us is not flawed. Forgive some trespasses. Listen and dialog with each other. And argue. But set aside the idea that the other guy is the leader of a dark specter of evil and instead accept that he’s a different person with different views, some of which might be right because each of us is imperfect (gasp!!!). There is a lot of reasonableness in the threads this morning. Is there hope for a better PPP?

It all starts with each of us. Trump and AOC are not the problem. They are a symptom.
