I didn't take it as a shot. I understood your point I was just illustrating the impossible situation Beane is in. What's the chances any of these guys are better than Ryan/Palmer? Then what is the chance after you take away the Browns choice (Darnold)? Rosen/Allen are both guys who could make the players around them better. Mayfield is going to need talent much like Ryan/Palmer. If Beane does indeed part with the draft pile it sure will be tempting to go with one of the higher ceiling guys.

Interesting examples, if I knew the guy I was getting at two was a Ryan or Palmer clone I might be reluctant to part with the picks.

Still at the medical center a day later I wonder if it's for physical or mental evaluation. Possibly both. After seeing the family history that really puts things into perspective and the jokes aren't funny, my own included. I could laugh at a kid like Johnny Manziel who has everything but can't get his own life straight but someone that has seen and felt that misery he deserves some compassion.

I get more excited about draft picks than I do FA spending sprees. They need to hit on all their remaining picks this year and nail the QB pick. That would be the franchise altering draft that we need, then bolster the young core with some FAs in 19'.
