  1. Please talk me off the ledge. After the Bills struggles last week against a pathetic Dolphins team, it seems like we could get humiliated this we by the Eagles. This game feels like so many other "test" games in the past where we started out the season strong only to get "exposed" as a fraud and our season comes crashing down. I know we have different management and players. We have a closely bonded team and a new focus, but this feels like deja vu.
  2. Young quarterbacks have up and down performances. Come in off the ledge. It will be okay.
  3. The Eagles game is going to be a true test of where we are as a team. We have won 5 games, but have struggled and made winning mire difficult. The Eagles are a team that cannot be taken lightly. The Bills should not be over confident. Maybe the Dolphins game was a wake-up call. I hope to see the team ready to play on Sunday and give a similar effort on defense like we saw vs the Patriots.
  4. Thank you. I appreciate your volume and dedication, but bagging the seats next to someone was too much. Creating a battle in the stands is a no win situation. When fans are respectful of each other makes for a much more enjoyable game day experience. Keep being loud . Go Bills!!!
  5. My feeling is that when Allen was drafted, he was considered raw and would take a couple of years to be ready to start. He has progressed faster than expected, but he is still developing. We are 5-1 this year. Allen has been great in the 2nd half of games. He has 5 game winning drives. Yes he still makes mistakes. But Allen is a leader of men and has the intangibles that can not be coached. Allen is improving in accuracy and decision making. He misses open receivers too often, but I believe that will improve. We should take a breath and enjoy how far this team has come in 2+ years. Our future is bright.
  6. Surprisingly on CBS Sportsline, the odd are currently at -17 for the Bills. The Bills are finally getting so love...
  7. I agree. I like the Bill's Mafia persona, but I do not like being associated with the moms that jump through tables and act like they just had their first beer. This is not representative of true Bills fans.
  8. We are stuck with the name just like we are stuck with the national image of bone heads jumping through flaming folding tables.
  9. It is creating an identity within the culture of that particular team. I wouldn't say it is meaningless. McDermott has certainly created a vision of what "Bills Football" is for this team and it seems that the players are ready to lay it on the line for their teammates. This seems to be anything but meaningless.
  10. This is going to be a good test for our defense. I am optimistic that they will do well. They will not shut down Barkley, but they will keep him from a big day....I hope.
  11. I hope he is. Have not understood the optimism with Gase going to the Jets. The only thing better would be a return of Red to the Jets.
  12. The O line looked quite good considering they did not all play together in the preseason. They are only going to get better as the season progresses.
  13. For a young guy, he didn't let adversity get him down. Allen showed a resolve That can not be coached. We are going to be all right. GO BILLS!!!
  14. I believe the most critical phase of this game is how well our o-line jells. It normally takes time for a newly formed offensive line to mesh and get comfortable with house their line mates play and what to expect from them. With Mitch Morse having had limited practices, this will be a challenge.
  15. We made the playoffs in 2017 with that formula. I doubt that we will be that unbalanced this season. We should rely more on the passing game. But the point is winning, not how we do it.
  16. I want to see wins. I am not sure why people are focused on how we win. If we run the ball 60% of the time and win 10 games, I am okay with that.
