  1. scared? it's the playoffs. 0-0 every team has the same opportunity to advance. throw the season records out. playoffs are a whole different animal. scared? hell no, I'm looking forward to the opportunity for them to advance to the next round. scared? not at all, I'm excited. anxious and ready for the playoffs!! GO BILLS!!!
  2. According to current information, this scenario is describing a playoff matchup between the Denver Broncos, who led the league with over 60 sacks this season, and the Buffalo Bills, who allowed fewer than 15 sacks, marking the first time in NFL history such a contrast in sack statistics has occurred in a postseason game. The Broncos had a franchise-record 63 sacks this season and the Bills allowed just 14 sacks. It's the first playoff matchup all time between a defense with 60+ sacks and an offense that allowed under 15 sacks. The Broncos have 28 sacks in their last seven games.
  3. no fiery leadership on this squad you say??
  4. that just tears me up.
  5. he was ultimately fired after the 2000 season. they finished 8-8 but that wasn't what got him fired. RW demanded he fire special teams coach ronnie jones and wade refused to do so. RW fired them both.
  6. Titans coach Jeff Fisher said that the decision left him "a little surprised" given that Flutie had been the Bills' starter for the majority of the season. Years later, Phillips wrote that the decision to start Johnson came at the urging of Bills owner Ralph Wilson.
  7. Long-term effect on the Bills The Music City Miracle was the last game in a Bills uniform for the remaining key members of the team's 1990s Super Bowl runs. Andre Reed, Bruce Smith, and Thurman Thomas were all released by the team in the offseason. all three would eventually be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Starting in 2000, the Bills missed the playoffs in 17 consecutive seasons, a streak that was the longest active playoff drought in major American sports when it ended.
  8. Brady is not seasoned enough to be a HC. sure, I'm no football guru but why the hell would he leave a gig like he has with JA? maybe 2027 he may be ready? if he leaves for the saints he is sure to fail.
  9. could this be the start of a bad luck streak...no
  10. it will really be the offense that can carry them deep but against good offenses like detroit or the rams they allowed too many points. and if they have to face the ravens and henry, not a good match up for this defense. granted, JA and the offense can put up 40+ so you'll be weighing on him and the offense to advance but unless they can create those takeaways (31 on the season tied for 1st with pittsburgh) it may be their achilles heel this postseason? I'm expecting those who were banged up to get healthy (hopefully) and go into the playoffs with key players back so they may have a good chance at it? those takeaways are not luck. that is coached and practiced and they know how to get to the ball and lately the QB with some sacks. that group can get it done but my biggest concern would be having to go up against the ravens and henry. but if at home, you never know.
