Anyone watching the Red Wing/Nashville game?
kasper13 replied to Dante's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good to hear that Fischer is OK. If it were Teddy Bruschi, not only would the game have continued but Teddy would have given himself CPR, played the rest of the game by himself against Nashville, scored 9 goals, assisted himself on all of them, beat up everyone on the Predators and would have had 47 saves in goal and won the game 9-0. -
Come on now Mr. Donahoe, stop being a wuss and use your real name when you post. Injuries? Spikes is the only injury on defense. Stop making excuses.

That quote should get MM and TD ran out of town faster than a two dollar whore that can't make change. They can take Jerry Gray and Tom Clements with them. I can think of about 12 or so quitters...err players that need to go as well. Blow it up and start over. If that's what RW decides to do than I am behind him 100%. If he lets the crap keep floating at the top instead of flushing, then I am done with my season tickets after 27 seasons. There needs to be a HUGE fan outcry towards the people that stole our Bills and turned them into a heartless, gutless bunch of quitters, sissies and losers.

One move that would win fan support
kasper13 replied to PJBrown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
RW wants to keep fan support or win more fan support- CLEAN HOUSE. New GM, Head Coach, OC and DC. No more excuses, no more BS, no more gutless, heartless individuals proclaming they are the best and then getting their asses handed to them by 38 points. Tear it down and start over again. I want my Buffalo Bills back. Not this bunch of.......puss*es. -
I think 6-10 at best. They may beat Miami and they should beat the Jets unless they are bus running. Who knows? They could pull an upset at home and go 7-9. Hypothetically, let's say even more Patriots get hurt (like Brady) and they go in the tank and finish 8-8. The Bills stop acting like sissies on the road and guys stop proclaming they are the best and start playing football and pull some big upsets including one or two on the road and go 8-8 and win the division on tiebreakers. That would give the Bills a home playoff game against most likely Cincy, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville or San Diego. Even more absurdly, they win the home playoff game. Then what? A road trip to hell and a 50-0 loss at Indianapolis or Denver. The question then would be, is it a successful season? 8-8 and two playoff games. That would just cover up how bad they really are and we would be in the same situation next year as we are now. 4-6 and just plain pathetic. I want to see Losman in there for the rest of the season no matter what and get Peters & Preston lots of time on the OL and let's start planning for next year with a new GM, Coach, OC and DC and a high draft pick (an OL this time for christ sake, not some reach from Miami) I also am hearing RW is really PO'd again.

What's everyone drinking tonight?
kasper13 replied to mackey7789's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bud Select and Crown Royal. See you on Monday. -
I'm in Section 241. I agree the drunk kids getting up 67 times a game gets annoying real fast. Why bother going to the game when all you do is get drunk and spend more time in the beer line and the bathroom line than watching the game? Save the money and get wrecked somewhere else. The Jets game was real bad as far as fights and throwing things. 4th quarter of the Chiefs game, some long haired, shirtless dirtbag ran across the top of the suites. 6 cops tackled him right in front of us. Dented the glass on the suites. Surprised they didn't fall off. I sit there because it's the first row on the aisle, a very decent view of the field and it's cheap. I'm also 6' 3", 230lb and do not fit in the seats very well. I'd rather sit on the benches than have my knees in my chest all game.

Mularkey said he will name a starter for Sunday on Friday Afternoon. If Holcomb is messed up, why keep it a secret? Almost every Bills fan wants JP in there. Just name him the starter and be done with it. Bills treat their fans like crap while trying to trick the opponent. Neither works.

SI.com Article About Browns' Move
kasper13 replied to buckeyemike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The last half of the Jim Rome Show today was people from Cleveland calling in and talking about it. They are still pretty PO'd. Some doctor from Cleveland sent in an email and said he would be on line the day Art Modell dies to "unleash a stream of urine" on whatever memorial they have for him and that he wouldn't be alone in that line. Another guy called in to say that when Art Modell dies and goes to hell, all he will have is that damn ring he won in Baltimore and there will be a Browns fan there to take it from him and place it somewhere "special" They were talking about how strange the last month and the last game was- vendors refused to deliver to the stadium, the coaches needed police escorts from the press box to the locker room. At the last game, all the advertising was removed from the stadium, people brought in power tools to take the seats out, they played the entire game heading towards the end zone away from the "Dog Pound" because it was too dangerous. People were calling in saying they remember everything about the day the announcement was made and how horrible they felt and that it was like a family member had died but worse. Another woman called in and said that Browns fans worked hard all week and saved up and scraped their money together to buy a ticket to a game and Art Modell stole that from them. Another guy said it's not the same now beacuse of what happened 10 years ago and that even though they got another team and the name & colors back it doesn't feel right. Yet another guy called in and said that he had season tickets since 1960 and the game on the Sunday after JFK was shot in 1963 was the quietest and saddest game he could remember until the Browns last game in 1995. I just hope we do not ever have to tell stories like that about the Bills. -
"Pro" Wrestling is not a sport. It's scripted entertainment. (Surprising that ESPN isn't all over it). To say that "nobody cares about wrestling" is a stupid thing to say. Whatever arena the WWE is at is sold out, the Monday Night show is one of the highest rated cable program every week and the PPV shows do better numbers than boxing does. I would definitley say more people watch wrestling than listen to Colin Cowherd, To say bad things about a dead person? Well, Karma has a way of biting people in the ass. People are supposed to have respect for the dead regardless of whether they knew them or not. It's called acting like a human being. It's all about the ratings and the 18-34 adult male advertising demographic. Class, respect and dignity be damned.

Official "Keep Losman in there" thread
kasper13 replied to RuntheDamnBall's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
JP has to start every game for the rest of the season regardless of the outcome of each game. -
Kent State dropped to 1-9. It's not like UB played a team in the Top 115. UB will never be anything in I-A as long as they are in the MAC. They should be in the Big East. More name opponents means more money for the program and better recruits. Until that happens they will always be 1-10 or if they are lucky, 2-9. I can't wait to see what no name coach they hire next to take the program "to the next level"

Four lucky fans will be chosen at random entering the stadium to play DT for the Bills today. The four fans selected at random will qualify to play if they have a BAC of less than 0.15 at 12pm. With the strong winds, the running game will be huge today. Chiefs will not miss Priest all that much and Larry Johnson will have a career day.

In the Buffalo News today, Commissioner Tags said TWO teams for LA. One in LA and one in Anaheim. No mention of what existing teams may move if it will be expansion.

Fat Sam slipped on a pile of chicken wing bones after hoisting himself off of his couch and twisted his knee.

I hope they do go undefeated. It will shut the 1972 Dolphins up for good. In fact, the 2005 Colts should then have to play the 1972 Dolphins after the Super Bowl (instead of the Pro Bowl). That would be a much better game. Broken hips all around for the 72 Fins.

I read in the Buffalo News the other day that the Bills have brought in about 70 players to tryout over the last few months. Considering they have not signed even one of them, is that just more time & money wasted by TD?

Panthers Cheerleaders arrested
kasper13 replied to John in VA Beach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jesus H. Christ. That's great stuff. I certainly hope they come to Buffalo. All we gotta do is find out what bar they are going to on the 26th. That would be the biggest crowd ever for that place. 9,000 guys and 3 Carolina cheerleaders. -
Sabres-Montreal game was a sellout on Friday. Next Friday against Toronto is a sellout. Attendance picks up around the Holidays and after the Bills season. After all the Sabres fans have been through, give them a damn break. The economy sucks in the area and tickets are still about $5-$10 too high. If Golisano worried more about having a good hockey team instead of qualifying for revenue sharing and finishing in last place for the third time in the govenor's race, the team would be better and more people would decide to go to the games. Bettman has stated numerous times that no teams are moving and no expansion is in the near future. Houston can suck it.

What does it say about us that Ashley Simpson
kasper13 replied to Tux of Borg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I call it the "Vanilla Ice Syndrome". Who the hell didn't buy that POS album 15 years ago? Who didn't throw it out two months after they bought it? America's Landfills are filled with Albums, Tapes and CD's of crap music bought by people who didn't know any better at the time. Same thing is going on today, just the names are different. Parents bought their kids Tiffany, New Kids on the Block , MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice albums while buying themselves Barbara Streisand, Barry Manilow and Anne Murray albums. Those kids are now buying their kids Ashlee Simpson and Britney Spears CD's and themselves Rod Stewart and Celine Dion CD's. It is a never ending cycle of stupid people buying crappy music because everyone else is. -
How the hell can they let the LOS ANGELES Clippers wear a jersey that says "Buffalo" on it. That is just pure crap.

Breaking News......All of organized religion has been scrapped in favor of a new religion that has just been created beacuse of Sunday Night's game. It is called "The Church of Bruschi". The new Almighty Ruler is none other than Teddy Bruschi himself as he is the only one qualified for such a position. Teddy can now heal the sick, give sight to the blind, and make cripples walk again. He will also continue to play LB for the Pats and have 38 tackles and 652 hits a game. All Hail Almighty Teddy.
