He doesnt get enough credit for the running game as is. Another LB has to spy Tyrod which opens it up more. As you saw in week 17 when Taylor is not in the backfield the defense will run blitz all day and rush on passing downs knowing they cant get burned by a scramble or a the Tyrod Sandlot Special. If the Bills let go of Tyrod expect the run game to take a hit as well.

The Chargers are gonna need a few really good drafts if they ever hope to hop over Defensive Denver, Lucky Clutch Chiefs, and the Carr Ridin Raiders. He also has the hardest job in an uphill battle. A soft defense, bad O-Line and plays in the hardest division. 2 Good to Great defenses and one really good Offense.

I think if you keep Tyrod you draft a guy you believe in. Dont draft a guy just cuz your cupboards empty. You draft a prospect you really believe can be the guy and not just a flash in the pan "QB flavor of the week." Franchise QBs only come around so often and they have a certain skill that others dont have. Sometimes you have to trial by fire someone to see if they got the "it" factor ala Brett Favre.
