  1. Right. There's a few players every year that play beyond their experience tho. Hooker prob wont last past the Chargers.
  2. Its one of, if not the hardest position to play besides QB. When you do good you almost never get noticed, when you !@#$ up....everyone knows you !@#$ed up.
  3. This is why it feels like we always draft DB. We almost never keep anyone. I was really mad we let Searcy walk with no back up plan.
  4. Thats a good point. I know CB is a higher valued position than S. Whatever they do in FA will tell us what the goals are in the draft. If they go S in FA and over spend, then we def take a CB, or vice versa. Everyone is saying this draft is deep at S, so they might go CB in FA. Also since we are going with the 4-3 cover 3 zone scheme, we can pick up an undervalued CB who shines in zone coverage. This is what happened to Ross Cockrell remember him? We let him go cuz Rex ran a lot of man-man coverage and Ross was a Zone CB, thats also why he flourished on the Steelers and went from CB5 to CB2 or 3 over there.
  5. There is also a rumored three team trade involving Cousins, the 49ers, Redskins, and Romo and the Cowboys. So lets see how that shakes out. In that scenario they are saying Cousins to 49ers, Romo to the Skins, and picks to the Cows.
  6. Cyprien from the Jags is also a good S at FA.
  7. Surprised to only see one Safety on that list. Isnt peppers thought of going late 1st early 2nd?
  8. Depends on the team. We ran a lot of shotgun with the Greg Roman offense but if you look at other teams they dont run close to as much shotgun and pistol as we did.
  9. *tips hat* The whole team pooped themselves. It looked like they didnt wanna play that Pitt game and got wayy too cocky and took their foot off the peddle in Oakland. There's no reason we cant keep and draft another one. Teams do it all the time. If the Bucs are paying their back up 7M to ride the bench, TT isnt the worst for as a stop-gap with potential to pay for. If McDermy thinks he can win with em, Ive seen enough to give him is deal and see what he can do in year 3 while still drafting for the future if the value is there.
  10. If thats what OBD wants, they could keep or get rid of Tyrod (doesnt matter yet), and draft Mahomes. Has the best arm talent at QB in the draft but needs a year to get used to takin snaps under center in a pro offense.
  11. Not really. thats just YOUR spin on it, not reality. When you join us in reality, we ARE a bad team. You are wat your record says you are and we are an average to below average team. Tyrod was benched because with the coaching change they werent gonna risk injuring him and get stuck with the contract. Any idiot without an agenda can see that. Also if Tyrod plays vs the Jets we win that game and move 5 spots down the draft because of it, so that was also a factor. Tyrod plays one of his best games vs Miami the week prior, showing progression and flashing promise. Depending on what they do in the draft he could have offers from 6 teams that dont have an established starter. His best shot would be Denver but with Kubiak gone he might not fit that offensive scheme anymore. Sometimes you gotta dance with the girl that brought you to it, and that might be the card hes holding. He played well vs the Pats defense and they won the Superbowl. He played well vs a playoff bound Seattle team on a Monday night shootout. Played well vs a 10-6 Miami team. Thats 4 games that he played well vs playoff teams. A better defense and a better kicker and we would have won in SEA and MIA twice. Those games would have put is in the WC easy. and yes @ Clevelnads
  12. Thats rite, I could still see him drafting a QB early tho. That was obvious to anyone without an agenda. Tyrod was only supposed to be a game manager to the top 5 defense and McCoy. Then the defense fell off the face of the earth and all of a sudden TTs expectations went through the roof and way past his pay check. Right he had an idea but when he got his OC he figures he wants his OC to look at TT and see if he can win with him. So that takes a little more time, then they meet again and decide what they gonna do at QB. I would be surprised if they didnt draft a QB on top of re-structuring and keeping Tyrod anyway. 4 Reasons I cannot discuss here, I also know this to be true. The smoke and mirrors are heavy. This is factual. Id still keep Tyrod > Orton simply because hes got that big play ability. More entertaining to watch, plus Tyrod & McCoy with that 2014 defense = playoffs. Because he would rather play for Buffalo than take his chances of playing for Clevelnad for 20 mill. Im sure he got his $$ saved, already has a Super Bowl ring, hes driven by starting and leading a team that can be competitive at this point. If that was me I would make the same decision, take a little less $$ to lead on a team that can compete, instead of taking another 20 million to waste away in a QB graveyard.
  13. The right motivation should put that all in the dirt. The team needs to figure out what pushes him. To everyone its different. That's why management and coaching are so important. Sometimes there has to be a different approach to get the best out of every player.
  14. Nice work. His play leveled off towards the end of the season and he wasn't having good practices. I remember Lynn benched him for that. Hes got so much potential i really hope he works on his attitude n work ethic in the OS
  15. Im there too. Im not naive enuff to point squarely at TT for this teams Losses. I think McDermy should get the roster he wants to work with and we should roll with that. If Dermys not worried bout the cap im good.
  16. @BuffaloHokie your boys !@#$in up early the sensitive upstate ny people are gonna start with the black ball
  17. swiss cheese depth chart. horrendous. wet fart.
  18. at least they lookin at talent. regardless what they do
  19. I gotta see another year with a healthy #1WR to agree with you. He flashed improvement this past season. If more of the same next year then yea but until then he still has a ceiling he aint reach yet
  20. I would only blame the defense. Defense couldnt wash its dishes. Tyrod was not supposed to be the end all be all here. He was jus supposed to be a solid game manager and let the run game and top 5 defense do its job. Then our defense fell off a cliff and Tyrods expectations went higher then they were supposed to be.
