Its a fair comparison dont let em tell you different! If the 2015 or 2016 Bills had the 2013 Seahawks Defense we would have been in the AFC championship game for sure. The ppg is where it should be. Tyrod would have been able to sling it more if we had assurance our Defense could wash its own dishes. Turns out our defense could not wash its own dishes.

Darrell Revis charged in assault incident
Marty McFly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you read the article it looks like they was harassing Revis and Revis snapped. Its never good to push a Revis too far. Eventually they snap and you will pay the consequences. -

Greg Roman: "Ground and Pound" doesn't win in the NFL
Marty McFly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a big problem with the scheme Rex ran and the roster we had/have. Rexs scheme needs intelligent players that have quick critical thinking skills to make the right reads and react accordingly. This team is full of players who are good athletes but most lack that cerebral asset to their game, this is why they thrived in Shwartz's "just go" wide 9 scheme but failed miserably in Rexs. Wrong Meatbro. Romans passing game is very ABC. The "pop warner" passing concepts have been called out by a lot of players and coaches over the years as hindering a QBs development, via Bill Cowher and Trent Dilfer. -

Not yet. He might become one though. Needs another year or 2. Is a solid CB4 or CB3 rite now. -

You really comfortable with Whaley Re-building this team? They should have cleaned house if that was the case. -

1. Agree. Re-structure Tyrods contract to adjust the 2017 cap hit and keep him, he is a good stop gap QB with a celing he hasnt reached yet. 2. If McDermy ran a man coverage scheme I would disagree. But he runs a zone coverage scheme and if he moves on from Gilmore its cuz he found someone cheaper who can do the same job or better. 3. We prob draft a WR high in round 3 depending where we go with R1 and R2, they got the Shady connection going so we prob bring in D Jax to replace R Woods. 4. Woods is going to a team that passes the ball more. Its a done deal just let him go. 5. We draft a Safety high in R1 or R2 and pick up a FA S instead of relying on A Will to get healthy. 6. We should trade back in R1 and get an extra 2nd rounder, take Mahomes with a late R1 pick, and use our 2 R2 picks to grab a WR and S. Any variation of that scenario where we leave R1 and R2 with a S and WR im good with. Also grab a FA vet S too. 7. Life coach or someshit. IDK get him to get his **** together tho. 8. That will happen. This team was top 10 in scoring the last 2 years. We scored more points than any Buffalo team since 10 years ago. A full re-build is not what is needed, a few key pieces on offense and a defensive scheme change with a couple DBs LBs and we are good to go -
NFL Combine List: Chad Kelly Not Invited

UDFA. No need to waste a pick on him. Do bring him in tho. -
Agree. Most QBs that can run, regress in their 2nd year (Russel Wilson) and they either never adapt (Kapernick) or they adapt and progress (Tyrod Taylor 2nd Miami game). We should be letting Sammy play the Watkins style which was how he was used in Clemson. We dont use him properly. IDK if it was because he is usually injured and they have him in bubble wrap or if its cuz of Romans playbook which has been criticized as being a pop warner passing attack that hinders a QBs progression. Every QB has flaws, Tyrod is not the only one that misses open WRs, he will get better its only his 2nd year as a starter and he didnt have the same level of comfort/confidence/chemistry with the WRs that were left standing. I bet Tyrod progresses if he stays in Buffalo and I bet he balls out if he goes to Houston. I just hope for my dawgs sake he doesnt get stuck in Cleveland.

Coach McDermott is very quiet
Marty McFly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This actually makes sense since OBD wont return their fone calls Most definitely a silent plotter. Yeah hows Lynn doing? I dont blame that last loss on him. #1 we needed to lose for better draft position. #2 it was a run for the bus game. no player gave a **** unless they were playing for a job next season. -
How do you think we fit the 4-3?
Marty McFly replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Genius. I really think Reggie is gonna be better tho. He has the time to wash the Rex stench off em. 6 month recovery time. Reggie had 10 months then its June and he has another 3 during OTAs and TC to get back into playing shape etc. -
How do you think we fit the 4-3?
Marty McFly replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Common misconception. Here lemme show you bro. If Ragland can come back from his ACL as fast as he was or better, he will be a better player than Brandon Spikes. The vertical shows you Reggie is more explosive than Spikes was, this means he is gonna have a faster 1st step and thats important for LBs but not as important as smarts/instincts, which scouts point out is one of Raglands strengths coming out of college. The difference in 40 time is huge. The 20 time would have been more telling but neither ran it at the combine. We need to see how Reggie comes back from injury before we start labeling him Spikes 2.0. Its not a fair comparison yet. As for Reggie vs Kuechly well Reggie is a lot closer than one would think. Its really gonna come down to how Ragland translates to the NFL game, playbooks, reads, and instincts. Hes got more upside than Spikes if he can come back healthy. EDIT: Here is Luke Kuechly's Results for Comparison in what McDermy is gonna need at LB -
How do you think we fit the 4-3?
Marty McFly replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hope so. 1st round pick, no TC last year, was a disappointment, was a beast in college hope he makes it. If they re-sign ZB which is likely I like our chances. Ragland is gonna be a good player. Mark my words. He might not have the speed but as long as he plays fast hell be ok. If we dont have the horses you can bet McDermy is gonna bring in a FA LB to run his defense the way it should run. Im actually really excited for the defense next year, we get a fresh full TC Shaq and Ragland, and Dareus can finally rush the passer again. As long as we grab a solid S in the draft and another one and a CB in FA we are good. This also concerns me. I think he is gonna be a good player, he plays fast on the field regardless of his 40 time but the injury might hamper the speed needed for McDermys defense. -
Addressing WR2 and WR3 this Offseason

Nice. Right. Id rather take a WR though cuz like you said, if Watkins is hurt we dont have much there. -
Addressing WR2 and WR3 this Offseason
Marty McFly replied to Hyphe23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im good with this except the 2nd WR pick. Shady might bring in DJax as a FA too. There are a lot of good FA WRs this season so I think we draft one high between 1st-3rd rounds and sign a FA, also re-sign Hunter, Powell, and Tate as our KR. Agree, though I would wanna take a S at 10 I wouldnt be mad at a WR Excellent points Hoke. -

Is George Whitfield really a "QB Whipererer"?
Marty McFly replied to #34fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives

All good, Id rather keep Tyrod restructure so the cap hit this year isnt that high, draft a S and a WR with the 1st 2 picks, add a veteran WR in FA, and fill out our defense with the rest of the draft hoping to hit on a few picks, could also take a QB like Mahomes Trubisky or Watson but only with a trade down to get the extra 2nd round pick. Watson and Trubisky will not be there past 15 tho, they might not even make it passed 7. If Trubisky falls to us they should take him over Watson.

Is there any way the Bills could draft Jonathan Allen??
Marty McFly replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every mock draft I seen always has him gone by the 7th pick.
