  1. I wont dispute that. Just saying, its not like he had a good hand of cards dealt to him. Im not defending him. Just pointing out what he had to deal with. Tyrod > EJ. Fan of Ragland. Hope he gets back to where he was before the ACL and hit the books on his rookie IR year.
  2. To be fair they set him up to fail with Hackett and Marrone no QB coach 1st year.
  3. QBs that run usually regress their 2nd year. Its supported by evidence, the third year is usually the tell all when it comes to them. Tyrod can either take a step forward and you see a consistent level of higher play from him, or he doesnt. Its that simple. He has flashed enough to know that he can be better. Is that worth the cap hit? Probobly not but at a QB starved team like Buffalo you can keep him and draft a QB for the future. Especially if you re-work his deal so his 2017 cap hit is lower.
  4. see games from 2016. Specifically the last one vs a spoiler team.
  5. More scoring than the Bills have put up from 2014-2002? You wanna make a bet? Watsons 1st year starting vs Tyrods 1st year starting? YPA, QBR, TD/INT Ratio, and COM % If you lose you change your avi to a picture of Tyrod Taylor. Vice Versa Its comments like his that make me want Tyrod to walk....onto another team, have a career season and make it past the WC Its the clutch factor that stands out. Not a bad QB to develop but will need time. Wouldnt be mad if the Bills took him.
  6. Sounds like a typical Bills FO thing to do That I agree with. Give me a fighter on the team anyday of the week.
  7. I watched every game minus the Browns game. Id have to say Pittsburg, Oak, and Bal were his worst games. Other than those, he showed more passes in between hash marks down the field, quick throws, trying to throw WRs open (didnt always work out so well). He took small steps forward but def improvement. If you watch (which you wont) 2015 Giants game and Eagles game, and then watch 2016 Miami 2 and Seattle 2 the progress is obvious. Giants game he folded under no pressure. Seattle game he had lots of pressure and didnt fold. Eagles game he couldnt run a 2 minute to save his life (Im sure thats coaching, they didnt get plays in on time, looked like they never worked the 2 minute offense before.) Miami game he ran a bunch of comeback drives including what should have been the game winner if the defense could wash their plates. Thats progression. Its not a lot but its a good sign. I hope he goes anywhere but Cleveland and gets his shot.
  8. This and he wants to go with Shanahan to SF. Cousins is better but throws a lot of picks in the red zone and fails in clutch situations. Might be on the same tier but Cousins is higher than Tyrod on that tier. Id still rather keep Tyrod. Cousins is further than Tyrod but still chokes when its crunch time.
  9. You really cant let go of that $500 trip to Baltimore? Cant blame ya, Id be pissed too. Carp and his signature missed FG. Cost us another crucial momentum changer in a close game. Need to upgrade the K this off-season too. Seattle and Miami 2. Showed a lot of progression, hit all the throws people said he couldnt. Made comeback drives. Failed in SEA succeeded in MIA, thats progression rite there. 3rd year starting with real bullets flying he is either gonna take a big step forward like RW or fall off.
  10. Could be to look in on Mike Williams or Watson.
  11. This is true. Were gonna be embarrassed if we are worse next year, starting Cardale or some other retread QB while Tyrod cleans up on the FA market.
  12. Romo will get killed behind our line. Its a waste of cap space to keep a QB you know will be hurt by week 4. You wanna fork over 16M plus for a QB to play for 4 weeks maybe even just pre-season than take his retirement money and leave the team high n dry? Face it. Romo will not come here no matter how hard you fantasize about it. Wake Up Call: We are an average team that plays below its talent. Romo will go to Denver or somewhere he can compete in the playoffs. He is not going to a team that hasnt made the WC in 17 years.
  13. indeed. As long as he doesnt go to the Browns next year He will have a starting job for a few years and a decent career.
  14. Did you watch that Texans game? Tyrod could have done better. Texans have more weapons at WR then the Bills do. Beat the Pats defense up with WRs that wouldnt get past WR3 on the Texans depth chart.
  15. I could say Aaron Hernandez. I could say Randy Moss but Ill avoid disrespecting Moss by puttin them in the same sentence
  16. Put Tyrod on the Broncos team last year, they go to the AFC championship at least. Put Tyrod on the Texans same outcome. The Bills defense is nowhere close to competing and hoping for a QB to magically take you there makes no sense. Might as well build the defense through the draft, some WRs, and draft whatever QB you think is franchise material when he comes around. Cutting Tyrod for a QB that costs 6M less and plays worse doesnt do much but give us worse football to watch on Sundays.
  17. We dont know Tyrod isnt. I bet he takes a step forward next year and progresses. Buffalo is dumb enough to let Tyrod walk. Not upgrade the RT, let Cardale start next year, and bring in McCown to back him up.
  18. Romo is a waste of 16M when he goes on IR after Mills lets a DE knock him out. If your gonna start McCarron you might as well just pay Tyrod because of what your gonna have to give up to get him from the Bengals, also gonna need to invest in a really good new RT if Tyrod leaves. Tyrod stays we can spend a little less on an RT and you have a bridge QB to hold the fort while you develop Cardale, draft the defensive players your missing, and a WR or 2 so the QB you draft in 2018 to be the franchise has weapons at his disposal that have been in the system a year.
  19. Whats that magic face?
  20. Right. Keep Tyrod, draft a QB if you like one, upgrade our WR, S positions with the draft and the cap we have left. Not rocket science. Its not just you. Im also on that plane. Tyrod and Shady have brought the Bills the most scoring we've seen since the 90s. I dont wanna go back to the anemic Orton and EJ Manuel offenses. Tyrod showed progression in Miami pt2. Let him have another year and see what he can do with a healthy Watkins, a high draft pick rookie WR, and a good established vet WR at his disposal. Bring in a high draft pick S and a solid FA S too. Tyrod has played most of his career in Buffalo with a gimpy WR squad. Two out of the top 3 WRs are usually injured or playing hurt. This is why we should draft a WR high in R1-R3 and grab a solid vet WR in FA. When Watkins gets hurt we have no one there.
  21. Maj this plan looks like youve been watching the movie Money Ball wayyyyy too much. I get it bro it was a good movie with a cool idea but let it go! I do think they let Gilmore walk if McDermy can find a cheaper CB that can play the zone CB as good as Gilmore for cheaper. Id rather hold on to Tyrod for the extra 8M instead of bringing in Hoyer cuz then we need to severely upgrade the RT spot too. A good one will run at least 6-8M so thats a wash. You wanna give the new coach some ammo without breaking the cap. Remmers is ok I have him as a back up in a Madden Franchise. I wouldnt cut Graham for the extra 2M he is good veteran presence and we can move him to back up corner if we draft a S high and bring in another one in FA. With Watkins constant issues we should draft a WR high, re-sign Hunter, Powell, Tate (all cheap but serviceable) and Shady is gonna make sure DJax gets a look in Buffalo during FA. He can replace and upgrade RW. As for Watson, with the amount of picks he throws, let him beat Tyrod out in camp 1st. Id rather go WR or S at #10. Or a trade back in R1 to pick up Mahomes at the end of 1 and a WR and S in R2.
