Right. Out of all the Rooks he goes through progressions the best. Thats important in the NFL. One read QBs dont do so well. If we let Tyrod walk, I would be ok with Watson or Trubisky at #10 and let them battle it out with Cardale for the starting job.

See thats the thing tho. In 2015 when he 1st started he had happy feet, hes progressed on that. He wasnt using the middle of the field at all really, in 2016 he improved on that too. The lack of trust in the WRs and himself is real and IMO is holding him back, I still think he can keep getting better, just hope for a bigger step next year regardless if hes in Buffalo or not.

1. If Watson isnt there at 10, take Mike Williams or trade back and stock up picks. 2. Grab a WR and S with the top 3 picks 3. Franchise Gilmore 4. Keep Tyrod 5. Grab some signature DW over-performing FA's at WR (DJax, Garcon, etc..) S, RT, CB (especially if no Gilmore), and LB. 6. Keep Ragland healthy. 7. Get Dareus a life coach. 8. Use a late round pick on a 2nd hidden gem WR. 9. Grab Chad Kelly as an UDFA and give him an opportunity. 10. Re-Sign Gillislee, Groy, and ZBrown. Trade Eric Wood for a draft pick or a solid RT.

Smith had a lot more years starting than Tyrod did, and spent enough time with SF to learn the plays in a 2 minute. Tyrod is still learning how to run a 2 minute drill and make comebacks.
