  1. Per Hard Knocks... Knox travels light. He went to two weeks of training camp with only a carry on bag, that his wife carefully packed for him. Lots of underwear. Kincaid wants to be a Peregrine falcon. That, ladies and gentlemen, are your Buffalo Bills Tight Ends.
  2. Josh always goes to the left on the tush push. Defenses prepare for it. The Bills went 0-4 for the tush push in the AFCCG. If he could occasionally go right this season, that would be of benefit.
  3. Jessica comes across as a genuinely nice person. I wish her success. ..and she has been successful, despite never winning the big one. She has been in the Top 1% of her sport for 10 years now. All of us here can only dream of such success. Go Jessica!
  4. 8:20 start (or 2020 for you military types, or 0020 UTC) -- who is feasting at that hour? Go to bed on a stomach full of food and beer, blech.
  5. You had to pay extra for the privilege of not having your name & number in it. Imagine that today.
  6. Scoff at me if you want... but I think the WRs as a group will be big producers this year.
  7. I thought it was a Lions uniform at first, but I'm not going to get all emotional about it. Agree that it's bad for a snow game. Old men yelling at clouds.
  8. I think he and Hailee will reside in SOCAL. But I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps a condo or small house in WNY and visits during the summers. He genuinely seems to like it here.
  9. Yeah, a young Jim Kelly was no fan of Buffalo. IIRC... Kelly did, for a very brief period, leave Buffalo to retire in his hometown in Pennsylvania where he had business ventures with his brother Richmond VA. But that was short lived and he moved back to Buffalo. He's better off in WNY. He fits. edited: richmond VA
  10. There are only 16 spots on the practice squad. I like to see them dedicated to up and coming players, young studs with promise. I don't like to see them dedicated to veterans aging themselves out of the NFL. Hopefully this Poyer thing is just a temporary dalliance and not a permanent way of business for Beane.
  11. The NFL has a problem: young people aren't watching. The average fan age is the same as the average poster age here--that means: old. That is why the NFL is finessing the Kelce/Swift relationship. It brings in young blood. I'm not going to be an angry man yelling at clouds over the situation. As the Godfather says "It's not personal, it's strictly business"
  12. Thurman Thomas and Jordan Poyer had thoroughly unenjoyable final years with the Dolphins. Douglas is in for the same, that is how it works.
  13. Tim Russert. He brought "Go Bills" to Meet The Press.
  14. Yep. Even extra points make me nervous. That's a sad state of affairs right there.
  15. Remember WR Duke Williams? Duke Williams had the same fan buzz around him after a training camp of big plays. He ended up bouncing around between the practice squad and the 53-man. He eventually landed in the CFL. Shavers could end up the same way, he is one of those cusp players. He will bounce around between the practice squad and the 53-man. I don't see him permanently part of the 53. There is no Shavers problem.
