  1. You would think that those expensive cameras would have a hood .
  2. Guys, this was last years super bowl champion with the MVP at QB. They are pretty damn good. Like someone else mentioned, lets hope Daboll gets the offense working.
  3. Changing the play calling won't help when the Bills players look like they are running in sand...
  4. Its raining... Chiefs bringing a ton of pressure...Its a big game on Monday night against the world champions. Mahones not looking so hot either throwing mid to deep. I'm more worried about the Bills defense
  5. Geez, Chiefs doing a Jailbreak...
  6. whew, no challenge Hope Josh settles down
  7. Even when the Chiefs RB trips he falls forward for 5 yards...
  8. Chiefs doing what the Bills should have done to start the game and settle down the QB on a big Monday night game...RUN THE BALL!
  9. That's their weakness in the run game up the middle and I think a big reason they signed Bell. We shall see.
  10. The Bills are 4-1, Dolphins 3-3...what 2 game lead should they lose to KC. What's kinda scary is the Bills are PF 139, PA 142 = -3 differential. The Dolphins currently are PF 160, PA 113 = +47 differential I think the Jets FO wants this current situation, to fire the HC and to draft Trevor Lawrence. I've read about rumors of the Jets trading Darnold to the Colts for a #2 pick. They must be thinking they really screwed the pooch with that 2018 draft in going after Darnold @ #3*! Also, seeing what Josh Allen has done recently I'm sure Jets fans are crying in their beers too.
  11. I have no idea why this offensive brain trust doesn't see who has a hot hand right away and keep feeding them. Beasley wasn't used until the second half and caught 6 of 6 and 4 of those touches came in the first drive in the second half while 2 more came in the next drive. TJ Yeldon was used from the first drive and looked to be doing better than Singletary as it looked like the Titans were keyed on stopping him. Why not run Yeldon more? Now, from my view the Titans were dropping more into coverage and allowing the underneath stuff and for whatever reason the Bills kept trying to find Diggs midfield 16 targets, 10 receptions for 106 yards. Davis also had 9 targets with 5 receptions. Why didn't they take what the defense was giving them instead of going for the guy who was more often covered? The Bills come in with a game plan and stick with it no matter what the opposing defense does/shows. The entire NFL world was watching the only game on TV that night and all saw what the Titans did to handle the Bills. Tough games ahead. 4-1 Chiefs, Jets, 2-2 Patriots, 5-0 Seahawks, 3-2 Cardinals, BYE, Chargers, 49ers, 4-0 Steelers, Broncos, 2-2 Patriots, Dolphins. 5-5 by the bye week losing to KC,NE, Hawks, Cards. 9-7 at the end...maybe? Current Bills defense 21st in points allowed, 17th in yards allowed. Had they gotten so used to the big passing play that the moved away from just moving the chains over and over to get to the red zone? Better remove that cranium from the posterior...and get healthy.
  12. You know what you get when the opposing team faces an offense that scores around 30 points each game? 27-31-35-30... They know that they will need to score a lot of points to keep up so they usually go all out on offense to do just that. In the case of the Titans, they just had the oblong spheroid bounce their way this game and got rolling. Derrick Henry 19 carries for 57 yards, a 3.0 YPC AVG. So the Bills pretty much contained Henry. It was that play action with Tallywhacker playing pretty well that got them. Tally also did his Josh Allen impression with 4 runs for 42 yards and a TD. This Titans game was more about an entire team loss, penalties on both sides of the ball. Allen with two picks and one was clearly his fault. Singletary got stuffed. The game plan on offense didn't work. The Titans were fired up to play an undefeated team and after two weeks of down time were rested and ready. Buffalo looked anything but ready to play the Titans. I think they were looking past Tennessee to the Chiefs and got sucker punched. Nobody fires their DC after five games with many injuries to key players. Both starting corners out along with Milano. Several defensive players nursing injuries. One word...relax!
  13. I agree. Plus the Bills no longer have a fullback and the Titans were keying on Singletary. Titans game, Bills 22 rushes vs 41 pass attempts. Singletary did have a not so good game against the Raiders, 18 rushes for 58 yards a 3.1 YPC avg. HOWEVER, against that Rams top five defense 13 carries, 71 yards, a 5.5 YPC AVG. Currently Buffalo is 25th in rushing attempts, 28th in rushing yards. The Bills simply aren't making much of a commitment to the run game in my view. At least not like they are to the passing game. If only the Bills had a run game commitment like the Titans...Singletary had the same YPC AVG last season as Derrick Henry. JMO
  14. Amen! Did anyone else notice that last season after that Thanksgiving Cowboys game in which the Bills offense looked brilliant that Brian Daboll was getting a lot of interest as a HC by some teams? Then the Ravens game happened and Daboll had no answer for their constant blitzes, normal 55% of the time and they stepped it up to 65% once they saw Allen couldn't hit the deep pass. Six sacks on Allen and he had very little time to throw and yet 39 passes attempted. After this game only Cleveland gave him an interview. After those Raiders / Rams games this season Daboll was suddenly getting looks in the media about a HCing job, Texans, Falcons. The Jets and Jags will also be looking IMO. Lions, Vikings? This Titans game showed that there are still a bunch of flaws in Brian Dabolls game planning and the teams execution, penalties. On another note, the Bills offense was top 5 until this game, now 11th in points, 5th in yards. Still, big improvement! The Titans showed you can win with a good passing game AND a top run game as a more balanced team.
  15. My take is the coaches and players were all looking past the covid-19 riddled Titans to the Chiefs. They weren't certain that they would even need to play the Titans until the day of... The Bills had all just watched the Raiders beat the world champion Chiefs and were all thinking about what they needed to do against that team to get that win. what I've noticed over the years is when a team gets caught looking past an opponent they usually end up getting beaten by both teams. The good news is Buffalo is not as bad as they looked...and yet the entire NFL world watched that one singular game and saw how Tennessee beat up Buffalo pretty badly. Josh Allen had the time to throw because the Titans were dropping more into coverage which is kinda the same way the Raiders beat the Chiefs in my view. The Titans most times allowing short passes and trying to take away the deep passes. When Tenn brought more than four rushers Buffalo usually picked it up. Anyway, the Bills were exposed on both offense and defense. The Titans worked on taking two players on offense out of the game in Diggs and Singletary. Motor, 11 rushes for 25 yards a very poor 2.3 YPC AVG, Diggs caught 10 of 16 targets for 106 yards. Yet, Cole Beasley caught 6 of 6 passes in the second half and 5 of those 6 were in that first drive in the 3rd quarter that ended in an INT. That INT BTW was Allen's first real INT as the others were a tipped ball and a very questionable call. I think Allen was getting restless to throw deep and got careless on that short pass to Davis. Beasley vastly under used in this game in this game IMO as was TJ Yeldon who had 7 carries for 52 yards, 34 the longest with a 7.4 YPC avg. Buffalo 22 rushes vs 41 pass attempts. To me its like the Bills came in with a game plan and were defiant to run that plan no matter what. In my view Buffalo has the horses to build a power run attack and yet don't even try most of the time. The Titans are more of a complete team because they now have a decent QB and a stout run game. The Bills need work that run game better than 25th in rush attempts, 28th in rushing yards. JMO.
  16. Typo, 34 yard run. He also had one catch for a TD, 3 targets.
  17. This! A huge concern going forward as this years defense is stinking it up. Going from #3 overall to around 20th really is unreal.
  18. Buffalo defense 21st on points allowed, 17th in yards allowed after this last game. Now 11th on points scored, 5th in yards. The Bills defense is bad, really bad. No pass rush, can't stop the run and its going to get much worse as the Bills face the Chiefs, Jets, Patriots, Seahawks, Cardinals, Bye week. Chargers, 49ers, Steelers, Broncos, Patriots, Dolphins. Then, not having a decent running attack bit the Bills big time as Singletary was held to 2.3 yards per carry. The Bills only attempted 22 rushes all game vs 41 pass attempts. Looked like the Titans took the Raiders game plan against the Chiefs and dropped into coverage and gave Allen plenty of time in the pocket... The Bills didn't even go to Beasley until the second half and he caught 6 of 6. Digs caught 10 of 16 for 106 yards. Meanwhile TJ Yeldon seemed to have a hot hand at RB with 7 rushes for 52 yards a 7.4 YPC avg although he did have a break away for 53 yards on one run. The offense couldn't carry this game and the defense didn't even show up!
  19. Diggs 16 targets, 10 receptions...106 yards tho Cole caught 6 of 6 targets for 53 yards
  20. It never ceases to amaze me how many bad things we all see when the Bills lose a game and yet were there during the wins too. Bills OC Brian Daboll, now that he has gotten serious looks from other teams about becoming their new HC, Falcons, Texans. He seems to shoot himself in the foot just like he did last season after that awesome Cowboys game win with that craptastic play calling against the Ravens the following week. Granted, the Bills passing offense looked unstoppable until this game This game proves you simply can't be a one dimensional offense in this league. They lose WR John Brown for a game and suddenly the passing offense goes into the ceramic convenience? Josh Allen 26 of 41 for 263 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs. QBR 69.4. It wasn't like Allen was under a ton of pressure either as the Titans only sacked him once. Did Tenn steal the Raiders theme against the Chiefs and pass rush fewer while dropping more into coverage? Does Daboll not see who has the hot hand on offense or simply just does all game what he planned on doing from the start? The Bills had extra time to prepare for the Titans and yet fell on their face. 22 rushes vs 41 passes. Singletary 11 rushes 25 carries a 2.3 YPC avg. TJ Yeldon 7 carries 52 yards 7.4 ypc avg. Cole Beasley caught 6 of 6 passes. Diggs caught 10 of 16. Davis caught 5 of 9. The Buffalo Bills need to build a power run attack for when the snow, cold and wind gets to Buffalo and when the passing game isn't working. They don't have that part of their offense working very well. Previous to the Titans game, Bills offensive rush game for the season, four games 21st in rush attempts. 28th in rushing yards. Now that the entire NFL world watched as Tennessee took apart that Bills defense for 42 points...do the wheels come off now? 4-1 Chiefs, 2-2 Patriots, 5-0 Seahawks...
  21. Okay Doc, Let's look at that #7 in the league in ToP. NY Jets, 18:43-Bills 41:17 Dolphins, 31:05-Bills 28:55 Rams, 32:12-Bills 27:48 Raiders, 31:42-Bills 28:18 Looking at those numbers I'd say the Bills destroyed the Jets in ToP to give a misleading overall stat. However, I agree that quick three and out by the offense are killers. Alas, quick strike offenses can also put a ton of pressure on a defense and keep them on the field far, far too long. I do love the Bills passing offense so far this season with Allen becoming that long dreamed of franchise QB we have all wanted since Kelly. Again, just saying that there will come times when the Bills will need to work that power run game. And, if they find it they will become a complete unstoppable offense.
