  1. So, you're elite in the same way that Joe Flacco is?
  2. Something about leading the blind and an association with the Bills makes perfect sense.
  3. Didn't you like Blake Bortles?
  4. I've been with Bills Wire since Day 1 and, as far as I'm concerned, Rob is one of the best Bills writers that we've got. I'm acutely aware of his process and he puts as much time and effort into his research as anyone. For not being "legitimate journalists", we're certainly held to the same legal and style standards as anyone in print journalism. The site has been up since August. In that time, if we're "a grade below Bleacher Report", thank you for the compliment. We've all put a lot of effort to getting the site going and, while I know you meant it as an insult, it's not taken as one. What Bleacher Report once was and what it is now are two very different things. If what we've produced is a rung on the ladder below guys like Matt Bowen, I'll take that. You don't have to like everything or anything that we've produced, you're entitled to your opinion. If you want to take shots at a good friend of mine and belittle what I've put months of my time into, I'm not going to stand back and let you fire shots without giving a few back. In the kindest possible way, !@#$ you.
  5. And missed as many tackles as great tackler Ronald Darby, while playing more snaps. But narratives.
  6. I've made my thoughts pretty clear on Darnold thus far but I don't really see much in Rosen or Allen either at this point. Falk, Rudolph might stand a chance at progressing but I really don't see much in the way of a surefire thing, especially in the underclassmen group. If I like a QB in this class, I'm pulling the trigger. Simply because I'm not waiting 12 months on a bunch of What If? types next year. Obviously, how we feel about the current and future classes shapes the perspective we have on that.
  7. There is value in a steady backup. Over the summer, Cooper Rush and Sefo Liufau were my front-runners for that in this class. Kaaya/Peterman probably both end up somewhere on that spectrum too. As long as you have/continue to look for the answer for the franchise guy, those types can be incredibly handy.
  8. @DraftDiamonds Hearing the Buffalo Bills are working on the side with DE Trey Hendrickson of FAU
  9. BBMB experimented with a like/dislike system for posters. It got out of hand FAST.
  10. I've had that song in my !@#$ing head for days because of you
  11. That's how I see Peterman but it doesn't look like he'll be drafted in the range that people will be happy with "just a backup" out of him.
  12. In a league where they pass more than they run, it's nice having it but it's not the first thing you should evaluate. If this means I get Corn Elder, happy days.
  13. Not much. I was tracking the run game more so I may have missed something but he had at least 3 of those catches vs Douglas. One was short of the sticks on 4th, great break by Douglas.
  14. Texas WR Dorian Leonard looks like he could be a good one for the '18 class. Listed as 6'5, 210, probably closer to about 6' 3 1/2" though. Fantastic body control. Stats aren't there because of being buried on the depth chart and some horrific QB play last year but he broke out for 7-125 vs West Virginia. Is D'Onta Foreman > Leonard Fournette a hot taek? If so, I'm positively en fuego.
  15. I read it more as they rely on a dominant front 7 so McDermott won't stop applying resources to strengthen the unit. Rather than the Bills are devoid of talent up front.
  16. I mean, he's not a top 100 type of player or anything but he's draftable, even if it's only in the 7th. Takes a few poor angles to the ball at times but he plays with intent. As that box safety in a C3 scheme, it could give him a bit of freedom to roam, the occasional blitz too. Worse case scenario, he should become a pretty solid backup and ST player. Might need to add a little weight for that though, 193 is a little undersized. I think Lee will grade out higher than Moore for me but I think I like Moore more. Probably a backup 3-4 WILB or 4-3 Mike but he's all action, plays the run pretty well and I truly appreciate the effort he gives. Not to mention, a 1.54 10-split at his Pro Day and a 6.89 3-cone will help him.
  17. Watching Jordan Willis at the moment and I'm definitely seeing why Bandit likes Dante Barnett. He doesn't mess around in the tackle, that's for sure. Best play Moore has made so far is blitzing Howard, missing him and tackling Willis.
  18. I'll laugh at you both for many things but not this
  19. Or this is all just posturing and they're lining up a QB early this year to replace Eli down the road?
  20. If I remember correctly, it was a zone call initially but the shift by NE checked them into a man coverage call. It didn't get out to Gilmore so he played it as though Meeks should've been over the top. If Gilmore got anything wrong, it was his film prep.
  21. It's 2017, would it kill them to acknowledge that Slot CB/WR is a thing?
  22. Much appreciated. I watch games with Spotify on rather than commentary so I probably missed some of that. Came out as an early 3rd rounder for me. Prefer him in man to zone but he gets a little grabby vertically at times, think he's really inconsistent against crossers in man, little bit of tunnel vision, ran into a few picks. Run support isn't great but you've highlighted that already. Think he might struggle against bigger bodies on the boundary as well. I get why people like him as a Bills fit though. Can play press trail in C3.
  23. Talking of OSU corners, was there a stipulated reason that Conley started playing in the slot a lot more later in the season? Man, he looked rough doing it at times. Hunter Renfrow took him out of his shoes a couple of times.
  24. I know how good he is, which makes his off-field all the more disappointing. Like you, I'm not grading him but I've seen him via players on his team & watching some of Oklahoma's opponents. I really struggle with the off-field stuff. I 'know' that Dalvin Cook's off-field is bad (perhaps more of a behaviour pattern than Mixon) but barely anything has stuck in terms of convictions.
