  2. I'm telling you! . . . . but I wasn't quite sure.
  3. Bill Simpson?
  4. For some reason #60 comes to mind but I'm not sure why. Maybe 'cause they started playing in '60?
  5. Good one. I'll let someone else answer just because. What Bills player scored 4 touchdowns on his first 4 carries of the same half of one game?
  6. Actually he was drafted by Washington and traded to Cleveland. But he was also drafted by Buffalo. In the early days of the AFL there was no agreement between the AFL and the NFL, so they both had their own individual drafts and then competed with each other to sign the players.
  7. Once again, that's possible but not what I had in mind.
  8. Thanks Without Googling what player caught JP Losman's first touchdown pass?

  10. Oh crap that could be right too. Not who I was thinking either. Maybe I should just withdraw the question. LOL EDIT: Cowlings was drafted a year later than OJ.
  11. Not who I was thinking, but you could also be right. Could be. Not who I'm thinking of tho.
  12. Mike Hamby What pair of college roommates was drafted by the Bills on the same day.
  13. Yes the Bills will gain $4.2 mil in cap space on June 1st as the cut designation for Aaron Williams goes into effect.
  14. LOL at least I was there before that so didn't have that to deal with. I lived in Austin, and folks around there always claimed anybody from north of Waco was a Yankee. Except back then the Oilers weren't much better than the Bills so every Sunday all of a sudden Dallas was part of Texas again. But we sure had some good times.
  15. Yeah that was cool too.
  16. It was tough being a Bills fan at 2-14, and I lived in Texas at the time. So the pregame trash was pretty heavy. That win was extra sweet for me, plus I got to watch it.
  17. The 5 year deal he was given after being traded here is like most 5 year deals. Lots of dead cap if he's released in the first 3 years, not so bad after that. In this case LM would carry $5.25 mil in dead cap for 2018 if released after this year. But we would actually gain $3.7 mil in cap space for 2018. Keeping him around for 2018 and then releasing him would gain $6.425 mil in 2019 cap space.
  18. Maybe. But if you're talking driving the I-90 it's only 20-25 miles farther from Toronto yet 40-45 miles closer to Syracuse.

  20. It was an extra point. The last drop kicked field goal was in 1941. But yeah, if undoes the curse I'm all for it.
  21. JK stays busy doing lots of things. Part of his Hunter's Hope duties include traveling to various state legislatures to implore them to include Leukodystrophies as part of the standard newborn screening process. There have been many advances in the treatments since HH was founded but only if the disease is detected at birth or shortly after. Still, most states don't require it to be tested for so often times the child is still diagnosed too late to benefit. If you follow JK you'll notice he goes on a lot of hunting trips. Many of those are actually fundraisers for Hunter's Hope. Places around the country like hunting clubs who want to raise money will often raffle off a "Spend The Day Hunting With Hall Of Famer Jim Kelly" grand prize. They give HH whatever the agreed amount, JK goes hunting for a day with the winner, and the club keeps the rest of the money as their fund raiser. And many of those celebrities that come to JK's annual golf tournament for Kelly For Kids also have tournaments of their own which JK is obligated to attend throughout the year for reciprocity's sake. Hard to get into coaching and do all that too. And besides, great players rarely make good coaches anyway.
  22. There's even more to that story. The pick we used to draft Cousineau was obtained by trading OJ Simpson to San Francisco. So our 1969 1st round pick played for us until 1977, was traded in 1978 for a 1st in 1979 (and 4 other picks) when TC was drafted and then traded in 1982 for the 1983 JK pick, who of course played for us until 1996. That's pretty good mileage out that original 1969 pick. Yep. We gettin' up there.
