The Brandon Beane call to Allen was pretty evident that both parties came into draft knowing that this was happening. Buffalo was drafting Allen whether they picked 2nd, 5th or 7th.
Watched a bunch of his games on that draftbreakdown thing and it will be a disaster if they put this kid at MLB. He is not a MLB in the NFL. His instincts are so bad and most of the games is left standing looking confused. He needs to be on the outside with more freedom.
Getting Bowman here is critical. We can't put this kid at MLB, it will ruin his career.
I think it has more to do with the WR already on roster. Kelvin, Zay, Holmes, Streater, Reilly, Dupre are a lot like each other. They needed more variety hence the picks and UDFA signings, along with Kerley/Clay.
Huh? The QB and OC better be connected at the hip. Take Brady for example. Him and McDaniels are connected at the hip all season. During the offseason Brady goes to California to tweak his mechanics with QB guru coaches. That is work that needs to be done during that time due to all the restrictions in the CBA. There is no time to be doing that during the season. The QB coach in NFL is a gloried film technician.
Allen can still use Palmer in offseason if he likes him. I personally would want him to work with the guys Brady does.
People need to realize that many of these UDFA players that teams find are actually from other teams rosters from previous years signings. Just because isn't here now doesn't mean he won't contribute here in future. Example would be Eric Lee of NE. A guy like Breon Borders is someone who could contribute this year
One of the CBs are making team.
The Bills clearly want a speedy all purpose guy so I think Foster will be fighting Ray Ray for a spot.
Most of the guys will be PS players.
Buffalo wasn't the only QB needy team to pass on Rosen.
Let's be honest here, people love to crap on Allen's completion %, but Rosen's wasn't that much better.
This team has guys like Aaron Green and Marcus Murphy on roster. Don't see the point for a late round or UDFA when they will give same production.
Rookies RB are plug and play. When McCoy is done, they will just draft one in the earlier rounds.
Not really sure about that. Buffalo has a lot of mid tier guys that will be tough to beat out. Kelvin, Zay, Kearly, Holmes, Streater, Reilly. These WRs will be looking for teams that are too heavy and need fill in guys to save money.
In a league of offense, buffalo continues to hire defensive coaches that spend all the money and draft picks on defense. As a defensive coach, you should be doing more with less.
